Brothers Bloom opens here tomorrow, that's on the docket for the weekend, too. I may just make Saturday movie day.

I was going to go tonight but $13 is too much for the gimmick that is 3D. I mean if it wasn't 3D it'd be $5.

So I'll probably wait or I'll spend $13 when I'm not having to sacrifice perfectly good sleeping hours. :p

Personally im gonna skip the 3D this time. Too much money and its a dumb gimmick that wears off after about 15 minutes in.

In all seriousness, I adore Pixar, but I just can't bring myself to support a movie with a direction in the title.

Two different types of movies.

I think this flick is a little more lighthearted and not as much of a message movie as Wall-E.

Although personally, i dont think Pixar has never made a bad flick.

I'm hearing, much like Wall-E, while the entire movie is excellent, the opening scenes are transcendant.

Evidently it lays out in an effective montage, the life of love between the old man and his deceased bride, from meeting in youth to the sad end, setting up why he's the character he is

Considering that Wall-E was fucking superb, that's some mightily impressive buzz.

"You're hearing?" You make it sound as if easily-accessed movie reviews are inside info or something.

Is this a movie about someone who has been a Chiefs fan for the last 30 years?

Ill even admit a few of old Carls scenes choked me up.

I saw it last night and paid the extra couple bucks for the 3D I think it was 11.50. What an awesome movie. Going to see Drag me to Hell tonight. Also wanna see Brothers Bloom. Oh and the Pixar short before up was great too. So was the Toy Story 3 teaser.

"You're hearing?" You make it sound as if easily-accessed movie reviews are inside info or something.

Was it the noun 'I,' the modifier 'am' or the verb 'hearing' that suggested exclusivity?

No you're right, the correct tact would have been 'Hai guyz, read the reviews, in case you hadn't thought of that, for an idea of what the movie is about.' That way I could push people in the DIRECTION of information without actually PROVIDING information. :thumb:

I saw it in regular 2D. I honestly dont think the 3D stuff is worth the extra $$$.

I think its just a gimmick for more $$$ from the studios.

Great flick but not as good as Wall-E.

The 3D was a little off as well. Mosters vs Aliens was a flawless 3D flick IMO. This one had a lot of fuzzy shit.

I gonna have to disagree. Yes, Wall-E aimed higher, but to me it was only half a movie.

The more i think about Up, the more i love it. Incredible movie.
