That's a pretty open question. What instrument do you play?

I guess the only person to answer that question would be you. And, of course, the band for which you are auditioning. If you decide to be in a band, just remember that it takes a commitment. Your commitment of time as well as blood, sweat, and tears can be great.

Edit: I just go the joke. Band....banned

Only if the BAND plays covers of Queensryche and Guns & Roses and Motely Crue ballads. Otherwise, no. Go acoustic, grow a beard, wear sandals, play some Arlo Guthrie sounding shit outside of some coffee house in Taos and have a long term relationship with a girl that is an artist that uses clay as her main medium of expression.
