Did no one look at the crib design and say, "Maybe we shouldn't put pythons in here?" Who's supposed to be in charge of this stuff?

Hard to believe designers didn't think of making the cribs python proof. No wonder these were such poor sellers in Burmese.

IIRC, the little girl was in Florida. The moms boyfriends snake got loose and strangled her to death. Sad shit.

This is horrible. What kind of friggin' idiot allows a snake to roam free with a baby in the house?

There are so many jokes in this situation that I can't even count them. Nevertheless, I'm not posting a single one. This is simply too horrific.

Rotwiellers, snakes, pitbulls and other assorted dangerous animals seem to be in the news with this type of outcome at least two or three times a year. People are just idiots.

Yep, last year a girl I went to High School with let her toddler wander into the garage with the family Rotwieller. When she found her there was nothing left.

And I bet that dog had to pay for her ignorance with it's life, yes?

I hardly knew her, but family and friends say she was far from the responsible type. A bit trashy and probably didn't do to much "Watching the kids".

I don't mean to make light of any of this, but there was nothing left, how did she find her?

It was my way of saying that the dog completely dismembered the child.

I don't understand this, really.

I mean, in olden times, people raised their children around wild animals. There were wolves and bears and snakes and giant, flesh-eating Pandas and all kinds of crazy things. Even tigers. Kids would just walk right out of the cave or the teepee or the hut or the pile of leaves and mud and go out to play in the woods with no problem. Now, you can't let your kid go into the garage unsupervised?
