Man, it is so odd that his passing would also be at the 40th anniversary of the moon landing.

Man, it is so odd that his passing would also be at the 40th anniversary of the moon landing.

and coincidentally right after a report that verifies nasa recorded over the moon landing tape and the only thing we'll get to view is something that's touched up and people will say that's why it looks fake

Nasa offed cronkite.

The insole.

Wrong. You could eat an old shoe if you had to.

FACT: That was Bea Arthur's favorite Bea Arthur joke.

I feel diminished because "we" cared about Mr. Cronkite as someone who could lead us to think one way or another about this issue or that one, depending on his own limited sensibilities.

That should never have been his role.

Adios, Doble Ve. Good death.

That is a fascinating statement right there, Mr. ClevelandBronco.

The reason Cronkite was someone who could lead us to think one way or another was because he engendered something called, "trust". As a general rule, people don't "trust" anymore.

At first, I thought that was a good thing. I mean, too much trust and you wind up being led by the nose. Who wants that? No one should surrender their judgment to another guy - even if he does have a deep voice, sincere eyes, and a funny, little mustache.

However, when you trust too little, you become cynical and that can be worse. It fosters a society in which there is no cooperation. And, of course, without cooperation, no task more complex than the average individual could handle can ever be accomplished. And that leaves a lot of tasks.
