I've never really cared when a rook signs. I mean, honestly. Have they ever held out for more than a couple games? I mean, we are going to suck. Who cares. If I was the GM for a shitty team, I'd lowball the shit out of rookies. I would only care about getting them in camp if I thought the team was a playoff contender.

Every team is a playoff contender at the beginning of the year. Every team has the same win-loss record: 0-0

God I hope it is soon, he is the guy who needs to make an impact this year and if he's misses most of camp and preseason it's just not going to happen

He'll sign when he gets the "right" money.

But have you spoken with any real estate agents that can confirm if he has bought a house yet?

Oh no! Oh no! Oh no! The Chiefs might be only 2-14 this year instead of 4-12!!! Oh no! Oh no!

Why? IT's the only drama attached to this team. We don't even have a kicking battle in training camp.

There should be some type of league wide incentive to get 1st round picks in camp on time. The incentive would offset any benefit of holding out.

It's amazing that Crabtree hasn't signed yet. The guy hasn't been able to participate in any practices, OTA's, etc., because he's coming off of a serious injury and now he's supposedly taking a hardline stance with the 49ers. Kiss your rookie season goodbye just like Russel did and just like Harvey did.
