Any particular team, or will he just travel from city to city displacing the starting quarterback each week?

Deanna Favre is so excited.

I bet she's picked out new carpet already. New shoes. Perhaps a handbag? The 2010 Mercedes?

Real reason Brett didn't want to go to camp = blowjobs.

Maybe he doesn't give a shit?

People make way to much of legacy and image, regardless he's going to the HOF and he'll be remembered as one of the greats.

Rotoworld says its a 2 year deal...

Vikings sign Brett Favre to two-year contract

Vikings signed QB Brett Favre to a two-year contract. The deal will pay Favre roughly $12 million in 2009, and likely a similar amount in 2010.
Favre, 40 in October, will try to extend his 291-game consecutive starts streak with a partially torn rotator cuff. We can't say he's likely to miss games because of his track record, but he isn't 100%. He's also joining a run-first offense, and won't be playing from behind often. While that would seemingly mitigate Favre's penchant for turnovers, don't expect fireworks. 20 TDs and just over 3.000 yards is a safe guess. He's a QB2 with limited upside. Aug. 18 - 2:28 pm et

He'll retire after douching out in the playoffs.

I think it would be awesome if, when Favre goes to Lambeau, he goes on the field like a heel pro-wrestler, like Ric Flair or something. Walks out and puts his hand to his ear like, "I can't hear you! Are you saying something?" The grabs a mic and yells out, "What's up Green Bay? Y'all miss me? Where's Ted Thompson? Thomspon! I want my number retired right over there. You got that? And when it happens I want a brand new Escalade! WHOOO!"

Of course he'll retire...again and again and again. Favre is the ultimate narcissist. In love with the sound of his own voice and unable to tear his attention away from himself long enough to adjust to the real world. Why should he? There are plenty of coaches and owners willing to throw the dice on Brett. That drama won't end until Brett stinks it up so badly that a coach or general manager loses his job because of Brett. Even then, Brett will want to play and will seek the limelight without which he can't survive. That is when the drama gets interesting. Brett Favre, desperate for attention and not accepting that his time has come and gone, like some punch drunk fighter wanting, no, demanding one last chance until finally his agent drops him, no one returns his calls and he is just another ex-player. It won't be a pretty sight.

When he enters the HOF he will be remembered as much for his inability to retire as for his accomplishments.

He'll still be remembered as a 3 time MVP....no matter what he does his legacy is set.

Nobody will fucking care about this shit at his HOF enshrinement.

They will just laugh about it.

And they should. It's a big fucking circus.

Brett Favre should throw a pick friday night, grab a loudspeaker and yell ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED?!?!?!
