Now he'll want a raise.

He also kicked off. Pretty well, too.

I'm more surprised by that kickoff, it was actually decent. Better than when we had 80 year old Morten Andersen for sure.

Now that he's proven that he can kick, I wonder if this means #85 will play until he's 85, like ole Morty did. :)

The XP he drilled even had a bit of a draw on it. It looked a lot better than anything pre-Succop I've seen around Arrowhead since Stoyo!

Only one episode so far, pretty lame. Everybody showing up at George Town, getting settled in, some special olympics "competitions" at the beginning before actual work began, and one Oklahoma Drill.

And lots of CJ, of course.

Would have been bad news for Marvin Lewis if he pulled a hamstring or groin kicking off, doing something he's not use to doing.

That show seems like bad karma to me. It can't be good for the locker room chemistry after the filming is done. Some of the coaches' meetings have absolutely brutal evaluations of players.

Well, their vet TE is out for the season, and our raw recruit from MU will be competing for the starting position.

So they're watching film, and every time he fucks up on tape, TE Coach makes him do push ups on the tape-room floor.:D

I think he went to ground about 4 or 5 times.ROFL

Oh I agree that it's entertaining for us viewers. Absolutely. But I remember Herm and some of the other coaches expressing some misgivings about doing the show later that season. I got the impression that the Chiefs' participation was a direct result of CP and his love of media attention. (For himself and the franchise.)

Who could forget this?

Just awesome, and the greatest non-playing performance in the History of the NFL.

It would be pretty interesting having him come in on a standard close-range FG opportunity. Direct-snap and away he goes. The other team would have to play it every time or risk getting smoked.

I guess their kicker had a groin injury so they were force to go with ocho's power leg

He actually did a very good job. His extra point was kicked hard and high and went straight through.

The Chiefs have spent seasons with kickers who struggled to get it inside the 10 yard line on kickoffs and Chad does it on his first real attempt? Good for him, but I have to wonder why they let him get all that extra attention.

their kicker has been ailing apparently and is already proven. Didn't really matter. Ocho will prolly lobby to take over and save a roster spot though.

great job! I had visions of Jose canseco pitching for the redsox and blowing out his elbow, thankfully that didn't happen. His twitter started calling im Ronaldo Ocho Cinco or something. Took his name and made it Soccerized.

Here's the thing about Chad: he IS nuts. But he's nuts in a more fun way than the other nuts. He's out there on Pluto along with Dennis Rodman but, unlike Terrell Owens, Chad isn't quite as much a "me me me" guy. Well, okay, he is, but it's a less selfish "me" and a more childishly egotistical "me", if that makes sense.

I think he and Belichick have a good relationship, and like to chat pre-game and stuff. That, to me, is a sign that--no matter how goofy Chad may be--he actually cares about playing football well. I can't picture Belichick chatting it up with T.O. pre-game.
