This guys must be the worst drunk driver ever. I mean it's really not that hard. Just drive between the lines, make sure you don't have lights out, go the speed limit, us your blinker. You can even find literature on the internet telling you where the checkpoints are gonna be. I don't see what is so hard, even if you choose to be a moron and keep driving drunk how you could still get that many DUI's in a span of like 5 years.

That's too bad. If addicts develop that attitude, that it's ok to just have a beer, most eventually slide back to where they were in full.

Often many of them have "friends" telling them that it's ok to just have one, or that they liked them better when they were a drunk, or that they are a no-fun stick in the mud now, or otherwise trying to undermine them. If you ever work with people who were very obese and then lose a ton of weight, often they have people around them who are trying to sabotage it all.

At any rate, it's too bad it seems like this may be what happened to him, that he thought he could just dip his foot in the pool.

Four-time drunk drivers aren't "nice guys". They're c**ksuckers who deserve to be thrown in jail.

Anyone who does shit like this is a moron. Any pro athlete who does shit like this--or smokes weed, or gets arrested in strip clubs, or rides motorcycles helmetless, or runs dogfighting rings, or does anything else to jeapordize ths lucrative career he has built on his God-given talents--is an even bigger moron.

LINCOLN, Neb. | Former Kansas City Chiefs cornerback Eric Warfield has been sentenced to one to three years in a Nebraska prison for fourth-offense drunken driving.

Lancaster County District Judge Jodi Nelson also revoked Warfield's driver's license for 15 years. Warfield was sentenced on Monday.

Warfield, arrested Feb. 1, pleaded guilty to DUI and refusal to submit to a chemical test.

Warfield's three other DUI convictions were in Johnson County in 2001, 2003 and 2004.

Warfield, who played for Nebraska during the 1995-97 seasons, spent eight years with the Kansas City Chiefs.

He sat out the first four games of the 2005 season for violating the NFL's substance-abuse policy, and he was cut in March 2006.

While Bob Dole is not going to defend a 4th DUI, Warfield has given a LOT of his time and money to help disadvantaged youth, so he's hardly in the same mold as Lawrence Phillips.
