I'm picking 11th in a 12 team league, and am seriously considering going WR/WR and hoping there's someone worth a shit at #35 and #38 - then grabbing Aaron Rodgers in the 5th.

The Jets have had a couple of nice runs...if the Chiefs don't run the ball effectively, the front 7 of that Ravens D is going to destroy Cassel in the 1st quarter. We're also going to have to get a few passes downfield to loosen up the middle. The only way that happens is if Cassel gives a few 'Ole plays and can create some time to throw it.

I was picking 10th in a 12 teamer last night, and my first five were:

Chris Johnson, Slaton, Jennings. Boldin, Cutler.

Under the circumstances, I thought it was ok. Andre Johnson went with the pick right before me, and Moss and Fitz were off the board. It was pretty rich with RBs at that time, but I wasn't interested in Gore or Jackson.

Seems like the RBBC has made some of the guys in our league lean more towards WR's early. It leads to the possibility of guys like Ronnie Brown and Pierre Thomas being on the board at 35/38.

Ronnie Brown was one of my backups last year, he put up about half his points in 2 games and he losses carries to Williams.

He's not a consistent producer week in and week out and you don't know if he'll get goaline carries, it's huge risk unless he's burried on your bench.

I took Slaton with my 2nd to last pick last year...I always go Kicker last but can you say steal!

It was a good thing cause Turner produced but Barber who I also had didn't.

I had Barber at 1 and Turner at 2 (huge reach for Turner but it paid off).
I happy to say I won the league using DAL B/U RB - Choice in the playoffs instead of Barber.

Bledsoe was very good for a few years. He never reached his potential because he believed his press clippings and didn't work to get better. He didn't have very good pocket presense and he wasn't a genius either. People talked like he was Dan Marino and he turned out to be a cross between Testeverde and Jim Everett. Ok. Not great. Built his stats through longevity. He and Favre could conduct a bonehead competition.
