I knew people were leaving the state for the first time since 1946, and I knew insurance was a bitch here particularly since the string of hurricanes. But I'm glad I'm not in Miami-Dade where all the northeast liberals are.

I suspect this will make the value on my home drop further for awhile. Anyhow, a lot of the wealth here has been from out of staters too. Including with second homes which they can no longer afford. So some of them went back north.

My buddy who transferred here (KC) from Delray is looking to buy back in Port St. Lucie. He showed me listings and there are awesome houses for way under $200K.
