Nothing good there. It'll be interesting to see who the Eagles dump, Feeley and Hank Baskett were both playing the third string. Both would be an upgrade for the Chiefs.

There's no reason to "get on the phone".

If guys are waived, all you have to do is claim them.

Which one? The early economy car version? The failed muscle car version? Or the later economy car version?

Nope! You just think in your head that you're claiming them and then the next day they just show up at your door. weird how that works!

Sure, if they're young enough to just need to be claimed. I think if they've been around for 3+ yrs. they'd be fair game for everyone as free agents.

Yeah, there was another band with the name Vaeda or something like that and they threatened a lawsuit so the kids changed their name.

Worked out good. Things are really popping for them now. It's a very exciting time for us Vedera fanatics.

They did change the style a wee bit after they signed with EPIC records. I loved it before and love it even more now. We are mega proud of them.

63 to 64 eh? Man that's right one the edge. The sprint came out in 64 I think. Two door, dolled up version. But the mustang came out and cannibalized the sales.

That's not how it works.

If they're under contract and waived, any team has 24 hours to claim them. If they are claimed, the new team has to assume their current contract.

If 24 hours passes and the player isn't claimed, he become a free agent and able to sign with any team.

Her's was the more squared off model. I had another GF who had the older rounded off fenders type.

Ah...memories.

How come I can still remember those cars but can't remember if I pooped today yet?

Getting old sucks.

WAIVERS
The waiver system is a procedure by which player contracts or
NFL rights to players are made available by a club to other clubs
in the League. During the procedure, the 31 other clubs either file
claims to obtain the players or waive the opportunity to do so—
thus the term “waiver.” Claiming clubs are assigned players on a
priority based on the inverse of won-and-lost standing. The
claiming period is three business days from the beginning of the
League Year through the last business day before July 4, and 24
hours after July 4 through the conclusion of the regular season.
If a player passes through waivers unclaimed, he becomes a free
agent. All waivers are no recall and no withdrawal. Under the
Collective Bargaining Agreement, from the beginning of the
waiver system each year through the trading deadline (October
17, 2006), any veteran who has acquired four years of pension
credit is not subject to the waiver system if the club desires to
release him. After the trading deadline, such players are subject
to the waiver system.

I'm not wrong, I just didn't include unrestricted free agents because UFA's are generally "cut", not waived.
