Is he wasting his time and effort or does he have a legit chance to get signed by someone?

He's got a good shot at getting signed, and anyway, even if it was only a 10% chance, wouldn't you stay in shape for a 10% chance to make $1 million in 16 weeks?

It didn't motivate him when he was already on the roster.

some team out there is going to have 5 Olineman go down and they will just want a warm body that won't false start every play and has experience, just so when their qb gets killed they don't have someone an Olineman that doesn't have experience. So they can say "hey he played in the nfl before!"

Was he in your way, and if so was it easy to get around him?

He definitely could get another chance. I remember when John Alt was very good but had a bad back, KC actually signed a guy off a used car lot.

As a backup left tackle, he's not that horrible. I definitely think he'll find work.

Was he doing calf raises? He has to have the tiniest little calves I've ever seen on a large man. Perhaps more calf strength would help his quickness and footwork so he doesn't get run around on every single play.
