WTF?

Gut feeling. There's always at least one team that just comes out of nowhere.

Who would have thought the Falcons or Dolphins were as good as they were last season?

I like the Bengals this year. Their defense finished in the top half last year and added some talent. Carson Palmer is back, so the offense should resemble the one from a couple of years ago, assuming their O-line isn't just terrible.

Just a thought about anyone picking the Titans to win anything this year;

A team with a strong defense, good running game with an aging QB that is only required to not lose the game goes 13 - 3 and loses in the first round of the playoffs at home.

Tell me if this sound remotely familiar to anyone on this board? How good were those teams the following year?

I'm not going to predict every divisional winner.

But I will predict this.

The Packers win a playoff game against the Vikings when, in a tie game, Aaron Rogers leads the Packers to a game winning score after a Brett Favre interception.

Steelers repeat as SB Champions, beating the Pack.

milkman
09-08-2009, 07:36 PM
Oh, and the Pack win the NFC North, with the Vikings in as a WC team.

Titans over Eagles

Chiefs will set a record for most sacks allowed.

That would be 6.7 per game! (Record is 106) I know we are bad, but that's a lot!

I think after 8 games and we already have given up 50+ and Cassel and Brodie are down for the count Haley would start running 75% of the time. :p

I hope the Colts run the table and go 19-0 so I can continue to piss on the people who think Brady is better than Manning.

Good job. Nailed the NFC teams except for Giants (over Cowboys). Got four of the six AFC teams (missed Ravens and Jets). Picked the SB winner.

NFC EAST: Giants
NFC NORTH: Packers
NFC SOUTH: Saints
NFC WEST: Seahawks
NFC WILDCARDS: Vikings, Eagles

AFC EAST: Patriots
AFC NORTH: Steelers
AFC SOUTH: Titans
AFC WEST: Chargers
AFC WILDCARDS: Colts, Dolphins

SUPER BOWL: Saints over Chargers

Again, not bad. 4 of 6 in NFC, 3 of 6 in AFC, and again picked the SB winner.

Too much love was given to the Patriots, but then again people assumed Brady would be back to form (and, instead, he looked a lot in 2008 like Peyton did in 2007 coming back from his own knee surgery).

If there was another predictions thread and someone can find it, bump away. This was the only one I found.
