I assumed he was starting as soon as I heard he was practicing.

Isn't today the day the injury reports are due?

Did he slip in how much better the Royals would be if they had a dowtown baseball field?

Don't forget how terrible it is that we'll have Texas on our helmet this year.

Whether Cassel starts is less important than whether he finishes. If he's moving okay in practice, and looks good, stick a brace on him and put him out there... but make sure Thigpen practices his "run for your life!" moves this week as well, just in case you want to pull Cassel out. If I were Haley, I'd have him on a short leash, like an MLB pitcher. (You know, how if a pitcher moves one facial muscle after a pitch, the manager and trainers come pouring out of the dugout as if the guy dropped to the mound and convulsed.) Cassel's gotta be healthy this season for two reasons: 1) IMO he gives the Chiefs the best chance to win, and 2) the Chiefs want to know ASAP what they've got with him. If he lands on the injury list as "Doubtful" for the next six weeks, that would suck balls.

TTC and Direckshun both hate the prefixes, so they never pick the right one.

"KK on 810 reports"

I say BS.

That sack of goo has never reported on anything. He just makes sh!t up and then convinces himself its true.

TO THE BATMOBILE!!!

Which one? I'd start with the classic 60's West/Ward bubble-window job.

If the Chiefs are still hanging around .500 by midseason, I'd move up to the long, lean Michael Keaton one.

If it's looking like they have a shot at the playoffs... it's Christian Bale ass-kicking "Tumbler" time, baby!

This. Why they would want to push this situation is beyond me, if that is indeed the situation. The thought of week 8-forward with Thigpen at the helm is just nauseating.

Why he is still on the team is just laugable.. Both Croyle and the G guy have more natural QB talent in thier ball sack than Thigpen will ever dream of...

How many Ks do you think he'll have?

Plenty, but he won't get any run support.

Just because a player has "been around a while and knows your system" is no reason to keep such an obvious, embarrassing, lack of talent on the roster.

You're telling me there's no one else, no other options in the NFL that can do a better job?

Is this what you're telling me?
