Isn't it incredible how only 60.00 people seem like so many more?

That looks like a hell of a lot more than 60,000 to me. Arrowhead holds nearly 80,000, and that looks like more than the capacity of the stadium, but who really knows?

I think you're looking at that with your heart and not your eyes. There's nowhere near 60,000 in the photo.

Fortunately, there were more people there that the shot didn't capture (curling around behind the camera view).

I really don't care how many people were there. I'm just making an observation.

How many are there?

I'd say 25,000 - 35,000 in the shot. It looks like half a stadium - but with no upper decks - and there's some spillover on the sides (the extra 10,000 I'm allowing).

And like I said, the actual crowd reportedly encircled the whole capital building, not just the front as shown here.

That's only about 50 people. Maybe 55, I think there are a few behind that one tree on the right. 60 max.

It looks like 1.7 million to me.

Nah, there's no sea of white. Or crosses burning.

I'd say 35,000 would be the minimum, not 25. 25 isn't much bigger than an NBA/NHL arena. There's more than that in that photo, I think. The Mall is fairly wide. I don't know how many are in that shot but I would say the floor is 35,000 not 25,000

...just saying

At no time did ABC News, or its affiliates, report a number anywhere near as large. ABCNews.com reported an approximate figure of 60,000 to 70,000 protesters, attributed to the Washington, D.C., fire department. In its reports, ABC News Radio described the crowd as “tens of thousands.”

Nope, the obese people allowed the number to be over a million. They count for more than one person. Works for me. :Poke:
