There are no bounds to his wisdom.

Obama said that good journalism is "critical to the health of our democracy"

I'm not sure what good journalism has to do with newspapers.

He's opposed it before. I haven't the slightest idea why he thinks it's a good idea now.

This is a medium overhaul, not a recession issue.

Something along the lines of keeping his PR machine in place.

This is a joke, right? I mean, the government bailing out newspapers?

This is wrong on so many levels. How does this not raise a huge red flag in the minds of...well, everyone?

because the news papers are too big to fail. with out the news papers, what would we wrap our fish in? the whole fish industry could collapse because of an increase in packaging cost. same with movers. we can't let this happen. be afraid. who will save us, if not obama?

Does Obama think the government should have bailed out individual weavers when the invention of the spinning jenny came along during the Industrial Revolution?

How to tell you're a naive dolt who has no business talking politics in any forum:

- a government bailout of the newspaper industry is bandied about, and the first thing that goes through your head ISN'T about the conflict of interest in government funding the press.
