What do you think about the current fight over health-care reform?
Well, it's going down heavily. Obama's not going to get a public option. By the time the thousand-page monstrosity of complexity and ambiguity gets to his desk, it's going to be a shred of what the majority of doctors, nurses and the people in this country want which is full Medicare for all.

What's your take on President Obama thus far?
Weak. Waffling, wavering, ambiguous and overwhelmingly concessionary.

Is any of that enough to get you back into the political arena?
It's too early to say. One thing is, I always want the progressive agenda represented on the ballot, even in a rigged two-party tyranny. I wish other people would do it, but as far as me, it's too early to say.

LMAO I knew I should have left out any other text besides Nader's assessment of Obama, because the diversionary reply would happen.

The point is, like the Telegraph, Guardian, and other reports we have been increasingly seeing lately, Nader realizes that Dear Leader is way out of his league.

Why is Nader's opinion anymore important than yours or mine?

I am sure there is alot of people who could run for POTUS and get .005% of the vote.

Mainly because he has been an advocate for the people for quite a while with a track record?

While I often am in disagreement with Mr.. Nader politically I do think he has tried to do what he believes is good for his fellow Americans. I see him as decent man that I happen to differ on how best to solve problems. What people used to call a worthy opponent. That is pretty high praise from me for a politician.

Just another voice in the growing chorus of all backgrounds and political stripes who see this president as ineffective and disappointing.

How can you guys think and agree with these statements out of one side of your mouth and then rant and rave about how he's a dangerous crazy socialist who's changing everything too fast and wil doom us all out of the other side of your mouth? It can't be both, either he's ineffectual and concessionary to the center, or he's too bold and aggressive and far left.

I think it's just a case of b*tch about whatever possible, regardless of it's consistent or not.

You should be thankful for that though. His weakness that is. That harms his ability to get his HC through.

Sorry, but all one has to do is read the party platform he ran on. Really what's the difference? None.

If there are any differences they're of personality only.

I've stated all along we've got a fascist in office, which is close to a socialist. Obama is a puppet of Wall Street, Nader on the other hand is a consumer advocate. There is QUITE a bit of difference between the two. Nader is NOT an establishment shill, whereas Obama was their main man.

Never in my life did I guess I would be saying nicer things about Ralph Nader than the folks on the left. I think many of his ideas at best are misguided and sometimes Batshit crazy. I just think his motivation is more genuine than most of the other politicians.

This is cracking me up.
