LIAR!!!

"I can make a firm pledge," he said in Dover, N.H., on Sept. 12. "Under my plan, no family making less than $250,000 a year will see any form of tax increase. Not your income tax, not your payroll tax, not your capital gains taxes, not any of your taxes."

http://www.suntimes.com/news/politics/obama/1505792,w-obama-tax-promise-tobacco-040109.article

http://www.jointogether.org/news/headlines/inthenews/2009/obama-signs-schip-law-with.html

Of course, he may not have lied if the only people that smoke earn >$250,000/year but I'm pretty sure that most that DO smoke earn a lot less...

Another great post by Frankie. Shouldn't you be in some other thread espousing the greatness of Iran and trying to convince everyone that they didn't really re-elect a tyrant in a landslide?

Almost as fascinating at how accomodating you've become toward lies.

I haven't yet heard a "Lie" that has cost more than 4000 American lives and 100k Iraqi lives.

If the fraud had no intention of changing anything then I would have respected him a helluva lot more if he just got up and said 'things won't change but I'll try to make the situation we are in work better for the American people.'

But no, he had to go pretend to be something he clearly is not. That is why I find him to be worse than Bush at the same point in his first term.

Socialized healthcare paid for by my less than 250,000 a year tax dollars will eventually cost hundreds of thousands of lives.

Not at all! The Republicans are not an alternative. They're only good for having a divided govt until we get real Constitutionalists in power.

Case in point: Dole up in DC trying to push through ObamaCare. Gingrich saying on Fox how to bring about socialized HC insurance in a different way. Laura Bush crying about excessive partisanship when our govt is starting to function as it should with healthy debate to weed out bad legislation.

Another Case in point: the same liars who took us into Iraq are following the same lying pattern along with the same pattern of: demonize despite inspections not set up to provide evidence needed, infiltrate, sanctions
(coming) bombing ( coming)....invasion (coming?).

The Rs are just doing what the left did under Bush, to regain power but it
s not based on really being different.

Not that your post is relevant to the topic and not to defend the regime there. But if there is such a war Netanyahu will start it.

I did my homework...in Iraq, jerkoff. Two deployments in the Sunni Triangle and I saw FAR less civilian casualties than American.

I bet you feel real tough spitting out numbers that you have NO clue if they are accurate or not to support your argument about a war that you disagree with.

I had a good answer that would put your rudeness in its proper place, but respecting your service in Iraq I will not hit you with it. I will tone down my reply and just give you a few links.

TIME:

"...the report in the respected British medical journal Lancet that the number of Iraqi civilians killed since the U.S. invasion may number as many as 98,000 rated hardly a mention even in news outlets that had been relatively critical of the war...."

http://jha.ac/2009/06/22/counting-excess-civilian-casualties-of-the-iraq-war-science-or-politics/

Journal of Humanitarian Assistance:

"IBC reports between 91,466 and 99,861 excess civilian casualties from 19 March 2003 to 21 April 2009."

Again, thanks for your service, but just because you witnessed one scene in the war does not mean you are an expert with the numbers.

And please,.... Next time do your own homework before calling another poster profane names.

Jerkoff = Profane? Wow.

I, unfortunately, have witnessed far more than one scene, but whatever.

In my opinion, based on what I have seen firsthand, those numbers are wayyyyyy too high.
