Rightwingnews, obviously a conservative blog, has a collection of conservative blogs compile a list of conservatives they hate the most, and a list of conservatives they love the most.

The conservatives they hate the most (http://rightwingnews.com/2009/09/right-of-center-bloggers-select-their-least-favorite-people-on-the-right-2009-edition/) (what we'll call Group A):

12) Andrew Sullivan (12)
10) Meghan McCain (14)
10) Ron Paul (14)
9) Michael Savage (15)
6) Pat Buchanan (16)
6) Charles Johnson (16)
6) Susan Collins (16)
5) David Brooks (17)
3) Lindsey Graham (19)
3) David Frum (19)
2) John McCain (22)
1) Olympia Snowe (26)

The conservatives they like the most (http://rightwingnews.com/mt331/2009/08/rightofcenter_bloggers_select_12.php) (Group B):

12) Ann Coulter 7
10) Jonah Goldberg 8
10) Newt Gingrich 8
9) Jim DeMint 9
7) Mark Levin 10
7) Glenn Beck 10
6) Charles Krauthammer 11
5) Mark Steyn 14
4) Michelle Malkin 15
3) Thomas Sowell 17
2) Sarah Palin 20
1) Rush Limbaugh 24

So my question is to you guys -- do you prefer Group B to Group A?

Ron Paul on the least liked list just shows how f*&ked up the 'conservative' party has become.

Basically, that solidifiies my justification for abandoning the current Republican party.

In the OP nothing is mentioned about Republicans. It clearly says conservatives. So why would you jump to the conclusion this represents all republicans? Seems to me it is just another list of stuff not reall backed up by anything and cannot be used to project any sort of conclusions.

1. "Generally perceived to be on the right" is not the same thing as "conservative". Olympia Snowe a conservative? Get real.

2. I'm not sure why you found it necessary to change "least favorite" to "hate the most" (and "most respected" to "like the most" for that matter).

3. It's also strange that you cut the lists off where you did. Why cut them off at all? If you're going to cut them off, why cut both lists off in the middle of a tie? Coulter and Ed Morrissey tied for 12th on the most respected list but you only include Coulter. Sullivan and Kathleen Parker tied for 12th on the least favorite list but you only include Sullivan.

4. I much prefer list B, although there are a few people on list A that I like.

IMO the Republican party is no longer the conservative party, it's the religious party.

Ayup! Michelle Malikin is a NeoConservative as were most on that list. They're in a coalition these days on FP. None are the party that worship the Prince of Peace.( why they hate Paul so much)

God, what a cesspool. I'll vote for the list that omits these 4 people.
