Basically he has constantly over or under thrown pretty much all of his passes, he has had time today, just hasn't thrown accurately.

I never thought Sam Cassell was a very accurate passer, myself

Cassell has always been a shooter, not a passer. Probably why he's never stuck with one team for very long.

While true, the protection isn't terrible today. Granted, he seems like he's still getting hands in his faces when he throws the ball, but you can't really blame it on that today.

Right now, the biggest problem seems to be timing. In his defense, he has one receiver that was only signed two weeks ago and another receiver who's been in and out of either the first team or the active list all offseason and season.

He's got to do a much better job. But there could be reasons. Reason for concern, but no reason to panic just yet.

He's had time today, plain and simple he's not getting it done.

The $60 million man has looked pathetic today. He looks like Steve Bono out there.

Throwing the ball for a 2 yard gain on a third and long is vintage Steve Bono.

One game determines what a player his for his entire career. Or not.

He's making bad throws and decisions again. The guy's head isn't in it.

Part of me wishes he'd tweek that knee a bit so we could get another look at Croyle, just to make a comparison.

The decisions aren't that bad. He just needs to throw the ball more accurately. It seems more of a timing issue than anything.

Based on what Haley did last week, I don't think the 3rd and longs are completely his fault. Seems like he's calling in short plays because he still doesn't trust the protection for long pass plays.

How many times do we need to go over this. He came from the Patriots. The Patriots are better than the Chiefs can dream to be. He had blockers and wide receivers that know how to play catch. He may not be Joe Montana but I think he'll do ok once the o-line is fixed. Anyone recall Tr-int Green his first season here?

My question is more on the timing.

Eli Manning looks a little out of sync with Manningham, and they've had a full offseason to work together. Notice how much more comfortable and accurate he's been throwing to Boss and Smith.

It's frustrating. But especially given how much the starting lineup has changed week after week, he deserves at least some patience.

He sure did suck when playing for a respectable team last year.
