Left tackle Branden Albert did not make the trip with the team to Washington today. Wade Smith is the likely starter tomorrow at left tackle.

we'll probably see an upgrade in performance...sadly...if Alleman starts at RG...we might see a line that functions adequately, at best...rather than piss poor.

I might end up jumping on the Chiefs to upset (or at least cover) bandwagon tomorrow when I make my bets.

Either way...Jason Campbell is going to have to beat us...we'll see.

Fuck. Hopefully Goff is out though. That woudl be a positive injury.

Why?

No RBs will be active for Washington?

The 25th ranked rushing defense versus the 25th ranked rushing offense.

Something has to give, and until we actually stop someone, (giving up 133 YPG rushing) I have to side with Portis having a solid day against us.

Portis is about 9/10 done. If he hangs a good game on us, it goes a long way towards pointing out how shitty our run D is, particularly since Samuels is done.

The 25th ranked rushing defense.

And this is with, among others, OAK bringing maybe the worst offensive game plan of all-time to town and the Cowboys foolishly staying with an injured Barber instead of going with Choice, who averaged 11.5 per.

In this case, I'm afraid that the stats regarding our run D are inflated, if anything.

The all-movable object meets the unstartable force.

Can't argue with the "9/10" assessment, but if Zorn is smart, he uses Portis like he did against Tampa and feeds him the ball.

25 carries for just under 100 yards, plus

I'm expecting something similar tomorrow.

If I was the Chiefs, I would box 8 and force Campbell to beat you.

Like they did against *gasp* - JaMarcus Russell?

Campbell's a motherfucking Hall of Famer compared to JR.

Which they did, except for the last drive, where they suddenly switched to the prevent defense.

It will be a shootout. The Chiefs will let Cassel sling it and the Chiefs will make Jason Campbell look like Joe Montana this week.

Either that or they continue to smack LJ up the middle and lose 30-10.

Is Albert's injury to his ankle or knee?

Wade Smith is a horrendous tackle...that is not going to look pretty.

I don't think the Chiefs have the balls to box 8 because of what Moss and Cooley can do to the defenders 1 on 1 with their speed.

BTW, got this from kcchiefs.com:

RICHARDSON PROMOTED
October 17th – 5:35 PM EST

Chiefs promote T Barry Richardson from practice squad, release LB Justin Rogers.

Been nice knowing you were a Chief for about 72 hours, Rogers.

It doesnt look pretty when Albert is in there. IT really doesnt fucking matter anymore this year. THis season is done. ITs just about waiting for the draft and see'ing if they can pick up some free agents and possibly some trades for guys who dont fit into this fucked up 3-4 defense.

I thought we would be contenders at least for the division by next year. Fuck no, we got another 2-3 years.
