Everything can be gone in the blink of an eye. You program doesn't have enough experience in high-profile situations. This happens to teams every year. The things I've said lately, which you didn't like, should make sense now.

Oh, I remember, but that was different because Mizzou fans were excited up until that OSU game. Any NU fan that thought last week's win was the start of a magic carpet ride to a BCS bowl needs their head examined.

Yeah, maybe you set yourself up for a disappointment, but that's all just part of being a fan.

I think it's silly to temper your enjoyment of the good times, just because you're planning on the bad.

This doesn't work. Read through this week's college football thread and you will find my pregame concerns. I got nervous midway through the week. This game had the perfect storm for a letdown.

I was prepared today for the bad. Texas Tech is not the team you wanna play after an emotional win.

And I have a feeling OSU is not a team we want to play after an emotional loss.

I still have hope, though.

It was going to take a conference championship for me to say the Big Red was back. That was a dumb discussion all week in the Husker fan base.

Oh, I agree, and if NU had played a solid four quarters and still won by the same score, it would be a different story. But as it was, 1 good quarter just wasn't enough to hook me after seeing how we looked in the first three quarters. It screamed of a fluke, and today it was proven that it indeed was a fluke.

I was confident going into this game, I honestly thought our offense would function better at home. Hell we took a better Tech team to OT on the road last year.

You went about this all wrong. Not only that, but the NU fans on this board weren't too excited. We knew the offense had problems.

I thought the same thing. I wouldn't be opposed to starting Green even if it means losing the north. Let's get him ready because next year's schedule is sweet.

This off-season could be the perfect time to change offensive coordinators. The offense needs lots of changes and maybe we should start over. Watson can't do enough in big games.

I'm not sure it matters, the offense is shaky across the board. Christ they had multiple false starts at home and a bunch of other stupid penalties and mistakes. Right now I'd just as soon show the entire offensive staff the door.

Yeah. Three TD's is a good chance.

What? I knew Texas Tech could beat Nebraska and even said it was a trap game. Texas Tech can put up points and Lee has proven he sucks. Plus Nebraska was coming off a big win and I figured they'd overlook Texas Tech that Niles Paul play pretty much proved that.

Eric..I know you meant well in this thread but we knew this was a trap game and after the ku game we still have a chance at teh north and next year will be better..but **** it, I'm going to enjoy it.

Big 12 North leaders.

How in the sam blue hell did KState slaughter the Faggies? That is a freak of nature.. Did we (Tech) not just slaughter Kstate? By the transitive football property we should beat the Faggies 100-0. Congrats Wildcat's. Impressive win I must say.

but remember this Heh , that's in jest primarily because who in their right mind had KSU leading the North in the 3rd week of conference play. I don't think there's a cat fan out there that's serious about getting to the Championship game.

I don't know about that. IMHO, CU is a MUCH better team with Hansen at QB than Hawkins.

Laws of balance. last week, they gave up 66 points, scored 14.

This week, they scored 62, gave up 14.
