What say you planet? They've already had a bye?

I'll go week 10.

Week 9. AJ Smith's ego is already about to explode. Instead of saying they're soft this week he's going to call his team pussies in the paper. See what Roidman has to say about that one :)

Oh please please please fire Norv and hire Herm Edwards. He's the best coach ever!!!!

God I hope they don't fire Norv. AJ would have to admit he was wrong with Marty, and I'm not sure he has it in him. They may go together.

Watch SD fire Norv, and then hire Shanahan.

with a franchise QB in place you'll have coaches lining up for that job

If he gets fired, it'll be after the season. Instead I think the Chargers will get well very soon, and save Norv's job like as per SOP.

You know, I was thinking that same thing. Chargers have regressed in every way since marty left. Herm would just complete that.

Personally I hope he's fired next Sunday night after losing to the KC Chiefs.

You think AJ Smith is going to hire Mike Shanahan, a guy known for wanting total control?

Admit your mistake. Fire AJ, hire Marty.

I was sure hoping the Chargers would beat the Broncos. They might have had a little bit of a let-down for the Chiefs. Now, they're going to be pissed off and want blood. Unless, they're fed up with Norv ??

They could use a nice Herm rebuild.

Plz don't ever fire him. He ruined that team similar to what herm did here. We need that stuff in our division if we ever plan to get ahead

If losing to the Chiefs gets your HC put on notice. Losing to the Raiders was a WIN.

~then again who would work for Al Davis

Yeah, he had us 85% rebuilt.

Rivers was sacked 5 times last night IIRC. I fear the Chiefs will have trouble putting that kind of pressure on him. If he has time he will pick the Chiefs defense apart. I am afraid of what he and Antonio Gates are going to bring to Arrowhead.

I just hope the win did more for the Chiefs than put a few smiles on faces for a week.

This. There are some things that fans of AFC teams should pray for. As long as your team isn't one of the ones involved.

- That Norv never leave San Diego.
- That Mangini keep coaching Cleveland.
- That Ralph Wilson (Bills owner) never die.
- That the Cryptkeeper in Oakland never die.
- That Cincy never fire Marvin Lewis.

That's 5 teams out of 15 that are automatically guaranteed not to be a Super Bowl champion. Narrows the odds for the rest of 'em.

Nah man, spread the wealth. Cleveland isn't going to win the SB for quite a while even if Mangini left. Send him to the Ravens or something. Let him destroy that team.

Fuck dude I'll take that this season. Sundays would be less painful that way.

I hope the Chiefs win... but Norv is never fired.
