Mitchell is already a highly respected and sought after prospect in the 2010 class, but WOW!, this kid has a chance to be really, really good. As the top uncommitted player in Texas, whoever ends up signing him is getting a player. He is a thoroughbred that possesses an outstanding skill set. One area he has improved greatly is his release on his jump shot. He used to have a low release which made his accuracy very inconsistent from the perimeter. Through a lot of hard work in the gym he has retooled his form and now has a good looking stroke with better results out to the 3 point line. He is built for an up-tempo style of play with his ability to run the floor and finish in transition. Defensively he plays with energy, blocks shots, has good feet and can guard a multiple positions. He is a great kid that needs to improve on not losing his focus; he showed a tendency to take a possession or two off at times.

3-stars are solid pickups, especially when they supplement a 4 star and a 5 star.

Also it always seems a team with too much talent ends up fighting for shots, or being a ball hog, if players can figure out who needs to shoot and when and play together, you can never have too much talent, but I am reminded by the teams that had 4 or 5 nba players that didn't go far in the tourny. There was also loaded nba teams that ended up not going for (NBA a different beast at all)

Because they only had a couple people that was NBA worthy, obviously 'Melo, and then Warrick. They weren't really "loaded" just had a couple/few people NBA bound. And a little freshman Irish prick that had a hot hand that night.
