Wow. Mid-season. The Bills have been awful, but it's still a little unusual to fire a coach mid-season.

TO strikes again... this time, it's a HC.

Maybe this is who Bud Adams was flipping off? Maybe he was talking to the owner of the Bills and wanted to get in the first parting shot...

Dick Jauron had absolutely no business getting hired in Buffalo to begin with

He only got hired because he is good friends with Ralph Wilson

Someone must have been watching the Browns/Steelers game last night and suddenly realized that the Bills lost earlier this season 3-6 to the worst team ever to wear seal brown and orange.

Damn, was hoping it would be after we played them...

I'd be willing to go further that he has no business to be hired again in the NFL as a head coach.

Or even the Browns/Ravens game last night. ;)

All kidding aside, I heard Jaws call the Browns the Broncos last night too.

Now, if Oakland will make room for him, things will be as they should be.

OK let's see if Dick Jauron can be a good addition to our coaching staff next year.

Discuss.

Wonder if they'd trade Aaron Schobel & Marcus Stroud. Not that either of them are spring chickens.

I'm suprised it took until the start of the second page to talk about bringing him in here as the DC. This is the first thing I thought about when I heard the news.

Are the Bills 3-4 or 4-3? If Jauron fits our D, I really wouldn't mind to see him brought in. Some former HCs might come in with a big head and an ego that might clash with the HC. But I think DJ knows that he will never be a HC again. That to me is on good quality in a former HC addition to the coaching staff.

He's like Keanu Reeves: it doesn't matter what he feels he always looks both confused and angry...

But you'd agree, wouldn't you, that he is an upgrade over our current DC.

I imagine that if TO was responsible for Jauron getting the axe, the fans of the Bills will line the streets to canonize him.

Uh, really?

Jacksonville:

1995: 21st
1996: 15th
1997: 23rd
1998: 25th

That's not exactly impressive, by any stretch of the imagination.

Detroit Lions:

2004: 22nd
2005: 20th

Again, not exactly impressive.

Kind of makes me think of the view of Gunther Cunningham by non-Chiefs fans.
