CNSNews - Dressed in a winter jacket against a biting wind at the Great Wall, Obama led a knot of people for a half-hour jaunt up the crenelated wall toward a watchtower, a restored section originally built 500 years ago.
Obama walked down the last ramp by himself in a choreographed moment for photographers. White House aides were exultant afterward that "the shot" they had planned turned out perfectly.

Now, seriously -- when criticizing someone of the opposite party, pause for at least HALF a second to think whether someone in your party did the EXACT same thing and if you did or would have criticized them for that too.

If the answer is clearly no, then maybe you should reconsider what you're saying.

lol...says the guy using a pic to discredit Bush....I'd say the President landing a plane on an aircraft carrier and pausing for pictures in a flight suit does that really well. Also standing in front of a huge mission accomplished banner for a war that we are still fighting is also a little bit of a snafu.

Yea. Its same. Bush could have cleared the deck, been alone, looking proud and thoughtful looking across the sea, not a soul in sight..he and his thoughts.

But, he allowed the soldiers to be there and thanked them for thier service and dedication.

Give me a break. It's a highly staged f'n publicity stunt. Especially the flying the plane bit. Just like Obama. Because in the modern age Presidents are constantly pandering to the media and the public, and image is AS important, if not more important, than reality.

None of which are good things, but that's how these multi-million dollar political operations operate.

People seem to have trouble understanding what a "mission" is versus a "war". They bombed the crap out of Iraq (shock and awe) - a military mission which was successful. That's all the banner meant.

What a beautiful picture. I wonder what he was contemplating? "You know, if the Chinese can do it, so can I! Yes, I can!"

Which war are you referring to? The war we had no business being in, or the "real" war?
