Great. Now how can we kill the guys who destroyed a perfectly good 1959 Bel Air?

I work at state farm in auto claims, watched this video in a estimatics training class a few months ago. Kinda unreal really. the older Bel air passengers would have surely died in that crash.

Oh yeah. Possibly split into multiple pieces in the process.

That's a shame to waste a classic car like that.

Hell with that. Have you seen what an 18 wheeler can do to a Legend Scooter?

Somebody roll the tape.

take the shoulder harness and air bag out of the new car?

Bel Air passenger was wearing a lapbelt.

...front end of the new car allows it to go under the Bel Air.

I think this has been posted before, it's definitely scary how that passenger compartment on the Bel Air collapses like it does.

The main point of that video is that neither driver can drive worth a sh*t.

Did they get their driver's licenses from a cracker jack box?

Obviously the belt and bag help, but the main thing here is the interior cab views show the
Bel Air cab collapsing in on the driver while the interior of the Malibu is barely harmed. Seat belts don't help much when the steering wheel is shoved through your chest and the seat pushes your head up into the ceiling.
