Here is detailed description of the base layer.

In November 2009, Missouri will be one of ten elite football programs to debut the Nike Pro Combat System of Dress for one weekend only. The new Missouri uniforms are 37 percent lighter and significantly stronger than current designs. A tigerís stealth speed and the fact that Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri houses the nationís stealth bombers were inspiration for the aesthetic design of the special new uniforms.

This is pretty cool except for the fact that MU is not an elite football program.

This is pretty cool except for the fact that MU is not an elite football program. It appears that Nike disagrees.

Edit: Here are the 10 teams with their Pro Combat gear.

They look pretty cool. Way better than those gay UnderArmour basketball jerseys or whatever that Syracuse and a few others wore last year.

You and frazod get your man panties tied up in a bunch whenever someone bad mouths MU. It's really funny. I find it quite humorous. I've never seen anything like it, really.

I find it quite humorous how you're such a complete fucking douche that you have to post a shitty comment on any MU thread you see.

I guess whoever raped you as a child was wearing an MU jersey. However, I fail to see what that has to do with the rest of us.

I thought Ohio State's were pretty badass. I thought it was just some weird throwback with some updates thing because of the numbers on the helmets, a style of which I am a fan. The whole thing seems unnecessary to me, though.

You jump on any and every MU thread so you can make some snide comment that has no relevance to the topic. You are a bit grating, especially since I still can't figure out what teams you root for. It changes according to the day of the week? or is it a lunar calendar thing?

So this is a one-time thing? Err.....what's the deal here? I have to say I was confused when I saw THE Ohio State roll out with theirs - but for a couple teams, it completely changes the uni...

It's almost as silly as someone that lives in Columbia, follows the MU football program and then turns around during basketball season and becomes a bandwagon KU fan even though they have absolutely nothing to do with that state or it's university.

They're certainly an improvement over the old ones, which I really never cared for at all. Personally I wish they'd got back to the ones they had about four or five years ago.

How is what I said not relevant to the topic? I was reading off what was said on the article? It's not my fault you're some pussy ass crybaby. Having that said the MU and Florida St uni's are the best IMO. I like the stealth helmets. None of these schools have anything on Oregon though. They have like what, 25 jerseys or something?

Oklahoma: Stake Our Claim
Texas: Texas Fight
ohio state: Earned

I would disagree a little there . I'm an Alabama fan; not becuse I' lived there etc, but because my roomate in the Navy was from Tuscaloosa and i went home with him to 'Bama several times; enjoyed watchign the games, tailgaitng (although never been inside the Bryant-DennY), hanging with his family & friends etc. It sort of rubbed off of me. Been watching them as often as I can since 1998. luckily they've been on TV more since Saban arrived.

But I will agree though...like anyone who 'became' a Pats fan, or Steelers fan in the last few years who didn't live there etc, is probably full of sh*t.
