It is a cool ad but then again I have a soft spot along those lines. I do think it would be cool if he looked at his dad and said man that is sweet but I already put a down payment on a SS Camaro..is it too late to get your money back???

they might as well of put "now buy our product" as the last line on there. who really wants to sit through an almost 5 minute commercial anyways. i know i just did, but really, where will this thing be seen besides the internet?

My first car was a '67 Mustang 289. That said, I've seen dirty rice commercials that were more effective in selling their product.

If you really love the returning heroes, buy them a Ford Mustang GT.

I have a huge amount of appreciation for our fighting men and women but considering the ad took almost 5 minutes I thought it missed out on potential; I've seen 15 second commercials that evoked more emotion than that did. Ad didn't really make me care about the soldier or the dad.

I expected some kind of huge sacrifice by the dad (giving his son the cherished Mustang)...but that wouldn't have showcased the new Ford, would it?

This was aired on tv. It's a few years old so my memory is hazy, but I think they made this commercial to air on the hallmark channel.

oh the hallmark channel? those viewers are used to watching hour long shitty shows, so the 5 minute ad was probably not so bad.

Depends on what month it came out....not that I'd have any awareness then either. I was too busy eating, sleeping and growing.:D
