Yep ROFL

Bengals declared RB Larry Johnson, WR Jerome Simpson, QB Jordan Palmer, FB Fui Vakapuna, DT Orien Harris, S Tom Nelson, C Jonathan Luigs, and TE Darius Hill inactive for the wild card round of the playoffs.

The game forecast in Cincinnati is for a wind chill of 14 degrees, with only a 10 percent chance of snow. LJ has been fighting through tendinitis in his knee, so Bernard Scott will handle backup duties against the Jets. Chad Ochocinco (knee) practiced all week and will start, as expected.

The Bengals are not expected to re-sign free agent Larry Johnson. 1/26/10

Bernard Scott is Cedric Benson's primary backup of the future and has the talent for more. Johnson, 30 with attitude problems and coming off a year in which he averaged 3.2 yards a carry, will draw scant interest in free agency.

Not everyone gets to play behind five elite linemen.

Explain Jamaal Charles and how he got a load of yards and at least one touchdown. Don't even give me the "he's young" .. "he's fast" excuse, because I'm not buying that and it's not a valid excuse. Although LJ isn't fast, there are a couple running backs who aren't fast and are not around a perfect line. They tend to manage to find the endzone and get a good amount of yards. I'm sure every running back can succeed behind a good line.

Explain Jamaal Charles and how he got a load of yards and at least one touchdown.

Charles runs around the line to get his yards.

After a few games of trying to run inside they gave up on it.

Apples to oranges.

I'm pretty sure if I would want to take the time to look up Charles's runs, I would be able to come up with a few runs between the tackles for some pretty fair yardage. I might sometime, but not right now.

Oh what the hell... here is one against Denver...

2-4-KC 44 (6:36) 25-J.Charles up the middle for 56 yards, TOUCHDOWN.

There was at least one other long touchdown run up the middle in an earlier game too. It was the game that Haley kept calling the WR screens even though they weren't working. I can't remember the opponent though, I just remember thinking that the screens may have been a contributing factor in opening up the middle for that long run. LJ would have probably been dropped for a loss though.

One touchdown "up the middle" in 15 starts.

You won't have to look that hard, I posted the stats for several games here.
Between the tackles his average was below 1 yard per attempt.

At least 2 LONG touchdowns up the middle in 15 starts. How many did LJ have?

I think that has more to do with changing the offense to suit Charles.

It took a while, but the other teams figured out how to stop him

How to stop Charles? No they didn't.

How to stop LJ? Yeah, about 2 years ago.

You would have to think we would have won more games if that was true.

You don't have to do anything to stop LJ, you just have to brush him with your elbow or cough in his general direction and he flops down onto the turf.

Charles will get a hell of a lot more than three wins next year.

Charles' rushing yards for each of the last 8 weeks:
103
58
93
56
143
154
102
259

No, they didn't.

Never cut your starting running back in mid season because Ken Babble of the KC Star and his sheep.

Umm. I don't even believe you anymore. After what Jamaal Charles did, and what LJ didn't do in Cincy, I don't believe any one who says that was a bad move.

If you honestly feel this way, why? What would've went better had we kept LJ and allowed him to continue rushing for 2 yards a carry and blaming everyone else for it? I was on the LJ bandwagon until the very end. I don't get it.

KCbroncoHATER

Could that be because they already had their starting running back in place since camp started.

No one would step in at mid season and take the starting job without the team melting down.

I know I'd melt down if my successful RB (Benson) was replaced at mid-season by a hasbeen like LJ.

It only took Benson 5 seasons to gain a 1000 yards in a season.

And that "bad boy" had only 6 games where he had over a 100 yds rushing.

Yeah ... he is something special.

He's come into his own. He's an "is" while LJ's a "was". The sad thing is that you're probably right about Benson. He hasn't shown that he's anything special. All he's shown is that he's a lot better than LJ now.

You're right, it's not the same thing. Threatening to kill a girl's boyfriend isn't the same thing either. Nor is spitting in a girl's face. Or shoving her. Or criticizing your GM in a rap song and then denying it like a pussy. Or criticizing your head coach because he can't figure out a way to turn your ineffective ass into the superstar RB that you and your boy KCbroncoHATER believe you to be. They're all different. I'll take Benson.

For personal reasons that I won't discuss with your dumb ass, there isn't anyone that thinks less of a person getting behind the wheel while intoxicated.

But the fact is, the character that LJ has constantly displayed is every bit as concerning as Benson's DUIs.

56 ...loss by 31 points
143 ... loss by 6 points
154 ... loss by 7 points
102 ... loss by 7 points

So we beat three scrub teams out of eight with his rushing.

Alright now do the same exact thing for Larry Johnson this year. Because last I checked, LJ's only 100 yard game (barely getting 100 yards) came against the Browns. Now get to work and write LJ's numbers down from this year and show me when non-scrub teams he beat.

Spoiler below-Highlight for hint

(The only wins he got this year in which he contributed to the victory were against Washington and Cleveland.)
