The people are not mad at Obama, its Bush that made people vote for Brown...

If this is the how they saw last night, the country is in for some serious anger over the next 10 months.

It's time to move past the Bush excuse. This is the first time I've said it, because I think it was INCREDIBLY relevant. We're a year out of his presidency now. Make it your own Barrack.

At this point I'm of the mindset that excuses are like buttholes. Everyone has one. What's being done to fix the problem? See, the problem isn't that things aren't fixed. We all knew it would take time. The problem is most of us don't see anything productive being done to actually fix the problems. It appears we're just sweeping them under the rug.

Can't believe people fall for that excuse.

And no one in the media calls him out yet.

I read the link but I didn't see where Obama said Bush was the reason Brown was elected or that the people were not mad at him. That would be a really stupid thing to say, but I couldn't find it. Just two pages, right?

"The president also said the same voter anger that swept him into office in 2008 carried Brown into office on a stunning upset victory Tuesday night over heavily favored Democrat Martha Coakley (http://blogs.abcnews.com/george/2010/01/upset-of-the-century.html). "

Granted that can mean more than one thing though.

Maybe this is the part?

"People are angry and they are frustrated. Not just because of what's happened in the last year or two years, but what's happened over the last eight years."

And I agree with the others he needs to start focusing on what he is going to do and stop looking back. He has had a year it is time to move forward.

I can't speak for anyone else, but that statement describes me quite well.

I was hoping to be less pissed off with Obama. Turns out I'm about the same pissed off. And if I lived in Mass, I'd have probably voted for Brown for those very reasons.

Wow!!! Spin cycle is on its highest setting there. It's not often I find myself agreeing with Mathews but damn, Dean has really gone off the deep end with that finding.

I didn't really think Dean was that far off. People want health care reform. They just don't want the abortion of a bill that's on the table right now. Can't blame them there, but I think that's really all Howard the Dean was trying to say. I do think the Dems are getting the message.

But they can believe what they want I guess.

But, but, but, it's worked so well for him for a hear now. Why change the song when you love it so much?
