Plus while protecting the bottlenosed buttfreak bug or some other inane BS we are funding the war we are fighting...only for the bad guys.

Don't worry, they'll be made up in wind turbine and other green jobs.

Think of all of the union jobs that would be lost if we drilled our own oil. I mean, if we didn't fund the nations that hate us by buying their oil, we wouldn't have had all of those clean-up jobs where the twin towers used to be.

How about all of the workers that had to build new airliners? How about cemeteries?

It just doesn't make sense to be self sufficient when we could be sending trillions overseas to countries that want to hang us with our own ropes.

When I get eletected to be Mr. President the first thing I am going to do is open up drilling for oil whenever and wherever we can. The second thing I am going to do I'd legalize marijuana and tax and regulate the hell out of it. It will be the new booze and we will sell it in every conveniece store in the country just like beer. I don't care about it much myself but see a pure cash crop potential in the herb...

So the way to make us less dependent of foreign oil is to first make us more dependent on foreign oil?

Oh, I get it; decrease the supply, prices will go up, and everyone will hold hands and agree to produce alternate fuels/energies...while the misery index goes through the roof.
