Obama:

""I donít spend a lot of time worrying about what the procedural rules are in the House or Senate. What I can tell you is that the vote thatís taken in the House will be a vote for health care reform. And if people vote yes, whatever form that takes, that is going to be a vote for health care reform. And I donít think we should pretend otherwise. And if they donít, if they vote against it, then theyíre going to be voting against health care reform and theyíre going to be voting in favor of the status quo. So Washington gets very concerned with these procedures in congress, whether republicans are in charge or democrats are in charge."

For the Obots, does this bother you? The President of the United States who claioms to be a scholar of the Constitution does not "worry about the proceedural rules"?

So we can't "pretend otheriwse" he says but we can pretend otherwise when the vote is not really a vote on the actual health care bill. The guy is a fucking idiot.

The comment disturbs me only because it is the President of the US telling a bald faced lie directly to the people.

I love how he sees it as black and white. You are voting for health care reform or you are voting for the status quo. No other options there, buddy?

The socialists on the O bandwagon will NOT have a problem with it. The independants that voted for O most likely DO have a problem with it.
Thus all the polls showing the negative views on this bill...

Just as I thought...at least the dems on this board are not stupid enough to defend him with that statement
