of Obamacare from the MSM, making this look like this is a huge positive for the country and Obama's presidency. When in reality their continued "brainwashing" of the uneducated general public is an attempt to keep the focus off of the bad economy among many other things:rolleyes:

Agreed. Whether truly concerned or just acting means they know this fight is not over and the American people were just given the "Ultimate Bird" by their govt of which they will pay dearly this Nov.

while you and i can agree that reform of the healthcare system was needed, to pass this bill for the sake of passing healthcare reform, as was done, was not the answer.

while you and i can agree that reform of the healthcare system was needed, to pass this bill for the sake of passing healthcare reform, as was done, was not the answer.Rome wasn't built overnight principle. It's a start, a better than nothing start. and yes, health care reform had to be passed for political reasons or Obama and the Dems were finished. They had nothing to lose. Their base would have given up and not come out in 2012. The country would have been demoralized(even more so)that nothing gets done in Washington and a 1/2 dozen other reasons.

oh they're finished now. 65% of america is not viewing this as a victory right now. and to give you a little perspective, i have never agreed with the political views of my father, but guess what... we agree on this.

Look at the poll numbers. You ask if you want to end discrimination against pre-exsisting conditions, have an exchange to buy insurance on the free and open market, allow your kids to stay on your insurance till they are 26, don't allow compaines to drop you once you get sick? they love the parts. Dems just have to sell the parts, not the package.

They let the media tell them they disliked the bill. It may matter in 2012 but its a non issue in 2014. Its all about the economy. and if its better those 30 million who now have health insurance have President Obama to thank in Nov. 2014.

Read the bill. and "fiscally conservative" ROFL no Republican ever gets to use that term again after supporting George W.'s unfunded ($1.2 trillion and couinting) war in Iraq, $800 billion for medicare drugs and $1.1 trillion in tax cuts for the wealthy.

I don't think you know what "free market" means.Insurance company says I'll provide coverage for X amount. company B says I'll do the same but throw in a $10 co-pay instead of $20. Company C says I'll do the same with free wellness visits if you take a $500 dedutuible. etc etc

try and keep up. the republicans are just as guilty as the democrats, and they all deserve to be shot in the head. i don't support the neo conservative ideals of the previous administration. i don't support the ultra socialist liberal policies of the current administration. so trying to defend your dear leader's policies by attacking bush's only makes you look like a fool.

edit: and the leader you're defending spent more in his first year in office, as the abortion of the last president spent in 8 years.

If they're colluding now, like you think they are, they're going to continue to collude.wellll at least its illegal now. It was protected by the congress before this bill passed. They are going to risk jail time to collude now. A much riskier business plan now.

They are colluding now. all the time. Perfectly legal and protected colluding. But, when Obama signs that bill, no more. They should have made a deal like Big Pharma and they still might have some power to wield.
