When will they be selected, and who will it be? More than likely, we will see a guy on the board in round 3 or 4 that we all want, but KC will ultimately pass on that player and take a "Pioli" player. Who do you think it could be?

The Patriots probably had that WTF! feeling when they took Patrick Chung in the 2nd, over all the talent that was still available.

it better not be in round 1 or 2 :cuss:

if he wants to "WTF" around in the later rounds then fine but in 1/2 you take the best talent, gawd dammit.

You are referring to it as though it's the singular.

I had severe WTF moments last year for the Jackson, Magee, Brown, and O'Connell picks, and that's saying nothing of what could be the worst trade in franchise history.

It's just my wishful thinking. I think we could really reach for Pat Angerer in the 3rd or something. That would be the WTF pick for me. Especially if Gilyard is still on the board.

When they use their high 2nd round pick...on a TE.

With the 36th pick, the Kansas City Chiefs select: Garret Graham

They'll make a montage of Pioli's picks in 20 years and it will look like this:

Nah Nah it'd be McCoy or Gronkowski NE was always obsessed with those blocking types they burned a top 20 pick on Daniel Graham.

Gronkowski wouldn't be a bad pick if it was the 3rd round. He's a real solid football player, and they could do much worse. But if he went with our 2A or 2B I wouldn't like it considering the talent this year is great.

So I'm confused. What exactly should the Chiefs do with their first pick?

I actually had a dream last night where we took some OLB from Iowa with the 5th overall pick.

It was so literal, I could feel Chiefsplanet coming down around me.

EDIT: OHHHHHHHHHHNOOOOOOOOOOOO!

SHOULD they do?

I think they should trade down if at all possible...But I really doubt we will get that lucky.

Or taking Heyward-Bey over Maclin/Crabtree

Really the Chiefs need to trade down. Unless Berry is the 2nd coming of Ed Reed, the Chiefs need to trade down and pick up more picks in the 2nd. There's TONS of 1st rd talent that will be sitting there in the 2nd round.
