Yeah, I started my own thread. I've never done one of these and put it up publicly before. I used the drafttek software.

http://drafttek.com/

And here's what we got. Flame away! I know some of you are going to HATE my 2A pick, but the value was too good to pass up, and frankly I've said all along I think he'll turn out to be the best safety in this class.

1. Eric Berry FS Tennessee
2A. Taylor Mays SS USC
2B. Jared Veldheer OT Hillside
3. Koa Misa OLB Utah
4. Torrell Troup NT Central Florida
5A. Eric Olsen C Notre Dame
5B. Pat Angerer OLB Iowa
5C. Marshawn Gilyard WR Cincinnati

How did you manage to not take any Washington players? :)

Mr. Flopnuts

Gilyard in r5?

Yeah, I couldn't believe he was sitting there with 5C, but that's how it fell. His value was like +42. It was crazy.

LMAO Donald Butler was gone before round 4.

Detoxing
04-22-2010, 10:28 AM
I'll take it!

But i really doubt Gilyard will be there for 5c. And could Pat Angerer play ILB in a 34?

i'll take it ... don't like 2a, but i'll take it.

maybe Mays and Derrick Johnson can commiserate on the fact that they both don't have a position in the NFL. ROFL

we'll have a great passing down package with DJ and Mays in at linebacker. :)

Mr. Flopnuts
04-22-2010, 10:30 AM
I also didn't troll the later rounds. I went in order and didn't look ahead because I didn't want to "stack the deck". I was pissed that I wasn't drafting a WR then Gilyard was there. I didn't even have to change it. They had already given him to us at 5C.

Not difficult when they only have Jake Locker and he didn't come out. ;)

I have been consistent about him though. :)

Donald Butler and Daniel Te'o-nesheim are both really good players that I would take for the Chiefs.

I don't know if I can link this like this, but I'll try it.

5c. Clifton Geathers, DE, South Carolina

I wanted Thomas, but I just couldn't pass on Mays. I'm a fan boy.

I really like this draft. You know I love Butler. And I'm also a fan of Tony Washington. That fat ass can fuck his sister all he wants. I think he's going to be a player. That's a good draft AFAIC. :thumb:

There were a couple of picks where it was hard to pass up the value that was available.

Thomas gives us a WR to groom once Chambers is done. Gilyard can play in the slot and be our KR/PR guy. Joseph is our NToTF. Butler immediately starts on our defense. Washington can be our insurance if Albert doesn't pan out. He can start on the right side if he needed to. Olsen can sit behind Weigmann for a year. Geathers can rotate in for depth because I'm sitting Vrable and plugging Studebaker in on his side.

Well obviously things would change if I'm taking different players....but going with the draft how it laid out for you.

1. Eric Berry, FS, Tennessee
2a. Demaryius Thomas, WR, Georgia Tech
2b. Linval Joseph, NT, East Carolina
3. Donald Butler, ILB, Washington
4. Tony Washington, OT, Abilene Christian
5a. Eric Olsen, OC, Notre Dame
5b. Marshawn Gilyard, WR, Cincinnati
5c. Clifton Geathers, DE, South Carolina

Again - Pestilence for GM!

Heh, like I'm sweating some douche with 24 posts and a bag full of red.

Shrek can talk shit all he wants.

Well put.

If Pioli fucks the draft up, will you be so kind to a douche pulling that shit?

Yeah I lived in Oregon until last summer. But no way you could've known that. :)

Then maybe you would like this article (unless you were a Duck fan):

Gratuitous homer post.

I would love it if the Chiefs brought in Damola Adeniji as an UDFA. With a little time, I think he could be pretty good.

If Pioli fucks this draft up, I'll have to stay away. Otherwise I'll be likely to flame on anyone at anytime. I honestly think he's going to do fine though, and I honestly think this is a difficult draft to fuck up. It's deep.
