This was a shockingly bad pick.

With the incredible value on the board, there's little question that Jackson and McCluster are synonyms.

MFing hell.

This pick dwarves the Jackson pick in terms of raw stupidity.

With Jackson, at least we actually needed a damn 3-4 DE.

This fucking kid is useless. He's a returner and a 3rd goddamn RB.

Jackson was incompetence, this is competence combined with shocking arrogance.

I'm done with the fat motherfucker. Scott Pioli is dead to me.

how about Kris Wilson or McCluster?

Not even close.

Wilson only cost us Nate Kaeding.

Even if you hate Clausen, the stunning amount of talent left on the board that fits this club makes this an absolute mind-fuck of a pick.

sad thing is we could have had a legit STARTER! On a team with more holes than swiss cheese and about the ONLY position that doesn't need an upgrade! They pass on so many that could have started when they walked on the field and helped the team now, or 1-2 seasons like clausen.

Did you see his little bitty legs and body in that combine footage? Where else would he play? Slot and kick returner.
He would soon be dead as an NFL RB.

Bullshit.

Because this jackass could've been had in the 3rd.

And we could've grabbed any number of players with 2a.

Hurray, we get a jitterbug with a posse that speaks of himself in the 3rd person with the 36th overall MFing pick.

The right 53 can all form a line and suck my cock.

Who is the Chiefs second string RB? You need two solid RB's in the NFL nowadays. McCluster is not a bad RB. Who cares how fast he ran his 40, he plays fast and is quick as shit. Anybody who watched him play would say he is faster than his 40 time says.

The Rebels explosive skill player Dexter McCluster was exactly that, explosive. He ran 40 times which hovered in the low 4.4-second area. Some scouts had McCluster as fast as 4.39 seconds. His three cone time was also swift at 6.59 seconds. McCluster’s forty time represents an improvement of .15 seconds over his combine.

Yeah. Heaven forbid that we accept a trade offer to trade down. Just because both of the tiny KRs would be available in the 4th round is no reason to trade down, get more picks, and still get these role players. *shakes head in disbelief*

You know, I thought there were two schools of thought: BPA and positional need. We are demonstrating there is a 3rd school ... draft in an area where the team is already strong and then reach for players two rounds ahead. This is bizarre stuff you expect from Al Davis. Not from someone that is supposed to know what he is doing, and not senile.

Umm hold on just a minute here. McCluskey may not have a specific role with the Chefs...

BUT DID YOU WATCH HIM PLAY? at all? He was by leaps and bounds the most electric open-field threat I saw all year- and I watch 70-80 colleges games a year. And this was against SEC defenses.

Jackson was a hideous pick. McCluskey could prove to be a great pick if he can at all replicate what he did in college.

I just KNEW Pioli would make some head scratching picks in the 2nd. Had a gut feeling. Although I like the McCluster pick, I cannot support the Arenas pick. A fucking nickel back/another return guy instead of a pass rushing OLB, ILB, OT, NT, or G?

If we'd have drafted Ayers at 21, I might not have lost my !@#$ing mind.

Fortunately, we're far enough down in the draft that the fact that Pioli doesn't care about draft value is lessened.

Well, until he takes a 4th round TE at 21. Surely I don't have to worry about that, do I?

All I can say is thank God I'm going to be on an airplane during the whole affair.
