http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chiefsplanet

there is a long-standing humorous tradition involving the discussion of poop

Christian Okoye also visited the site, presumably in an attempt to market a product he was selling at the time. He promised several members free autographed pictures, before promptly disappearing, never to return.

An internet model named Kirstie Tynes also joined the site for a period of a few weeks early in 2008, after a google search of her name led to a thread on Chiefsplanet.

Profanity is permitted and non-football-topics, some of a sexual nature, are discussed frequently.

flame wars are exceedingly common when members disagree

a long-running dislike for Warpaint Illustrated among many Chiefsplanet members

"Planeteers" from Chiefsplanet have met in real life. At Chiefs games, they often tailgate in the parking lot together, even wearing nametags bearing their online handles.

What red-blooded American would read that bio page and conclude anything other than "this is an indispensible part of Americana that I must immerse myself in"?

The Mane got ahold of it.

Chiefsplanet is the most popular meeting place online for closet homosexuals, and inbred mullets.
Having sex with animals is also a very popular topic on the forum.

go_chiefs is also the most unpopular poster. He is a 400-pound 24-year old virgin who reportedly couldn't get laid in the ghettos of Tijuana with a sack full of $100 bills.

We should make a 3rd party site called geterpertlaid.com and have a ton of CP references on it.

Only real problems I see with the accuracy are:
1. I was not the co-creator. Co-owner or admin might be more accurate.
2. CP's disdain for Warpaint has nothing to do with my brief foray into leadership for their site. CP disliked everything Warpaint due to Nick Athan's penchant for writing at a 6th grade level and misleading Chiefs fans every UFA signing period.

Anyone can edit the page but I would suggest we come to a consensus here if we're going to add anything. It should either be new sections or additions to old sections. I don't want to add a bunch of notes about individual members for no good reason.

A lexicon section is probably in order.

This article may not meet the general notability guideline (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Notability). Please help to establish notability by adding reliable, secondary sources (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:RS) about the topic. If notability cannot be established, the article is likely to be merged (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Merge), redirected (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Redirect), or deleted (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:DELETE).Can someone explain what the hell they mean by this?

Can someone explain what the hell they mean by this?

It means that Chiefsplanet isn't noteworthy. It's not important or eminent enough in the world to deserve an entry. If you want to counter the judgement, you have to find other sources (newspaper articles, scholarly articles, books, notable websites, etc..) that reference it.

News organizations

Mainstream news sources, especially those at the high-quality end of the market, are considered to be generally reliable. However, it is understood that even the most reputable news outlets occasionally contain errors. Whether a specific news story is reliable for a specific fact or statement in a Wikipedia article is something that must be assessed on a case by case basis. When using news sources, care should be taken to distinguish opinion columns from news reporting.

* For information about academic topics, it is better to rely on scholarly sources and high-quality non-scholarly sources. News reports may be acceptable depending on the information in question; as always, consider the context.
* While the reporting of rumors has a news value, Wikipedia is an encyclopedia and should only include information verified by reliable sources. Wikipedia is not the place for passing along gossip and rumors.
* Some news organizations have used Wikipedia articles as a source for their work. Editors should therefore beware of circular sourcing.

Bull$3it.

I think my next cheapy jersey will say Chiefsplanet instead of picking a retired player. Put my join date as the number.

Yeah, I'd spend $60 on a Chiefs jersey that I'll never regret purchasing.
