No, Hormel. LMAO

I might have to try it though... always looking for real spicy, not American spicy.

I believe they use that at Thai House, in south KC... I have Sriracha, which you can find pretty easily. I asked a server at Thai House, and she brought out a huge bottle of what looked like Sriracha, but with seeds, and it's spicier. There are a couple of Indian markets in Overland Park that I need to stop by when I have the chance.

Believe it or not, but the freaking Wal-Marts here carry both Sriracha and that Chili Garlic (sambal oelek) sauce. They're both from Huy Foods, and yeah... it's found in most thai restaurants, often poured into a separate container that sits on the table.

I think Sriracha has a more distinct overall flavor, but I really like both of them.

Sometimes I just eat it on plain white rice as a meal.

Phobia posted an awesome slaw recipe using that peanut sauce a long time ago. Not sure if you can find it with the search, but it's pretty good stuff.

The sambal oeleck is great, but it's not really spicy. The link above is to a new sauce made with the ghost pepper. It is unbelievably hot...but very tasty.

I have been using that stuff for about 10 years now...I tried it originally on grilled chicken, but I love it on grilled salmon.

You're obviously in a whole different level of spiciness. Sambal oeleck is spicy for most people. It's not habanero or ghost pepper spicy... but it's spicier than most western food,

If you live or work near Mission you can buy a peanut sauce made in house at Thai Orchid for about $3 a cup...Seems to be used on their house salad and other dishes. It's much better than what I've bought at a store or tried to make on my own. And the lunch special #65 rocks.
