Well, there is good news.

As more of these people come here to kill us, we will be proud we did not profile arab sounding swarthy skinned people traveling here with one way tickets or coming through Mexico being harassed as they have ice cream.

And soon they will have a nice Mosque to visit to request the 7 virgins they will soon have and see the results of Islamist work first hand at ground zero.

EXCLUSIVE: Terror Attacks Against U.S. At All-Time High
DHS Report Says Pace May Increase And Include More Homegrown Extremists

The pace and number of attempted terror attacks against the U.S. over the past nine months has surpassed the number of attempts during any previous one-year period, according to an internal Department of Homeland Security report issued on Friday, May 21.

The report notes chillingly that while US officials "lack insights" they believe that "operatives are in the country and could advance plotting with little or no warning."

The DHS "Intelligence Note," a short, non-classified report, makes concrete the concerns of a number of homeland security experts who have discussed with ABC News the pace and nature of the individual attempts. The report notes that al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula and the Pakistani Taliban have "expanded their focus" to include the United States.

Homeland Security and law enforcement officials interviewed by ABC News on the condition their names not be used are concerned that the pace will continue to ramp up and that increasingly the attackers will be difficult-to-detect homegrown extremists.

"Recent attempted attacks and plots in the United States progressed to an advanced stage largely because of these groups' ability to use operatives that have access and familiarity with the U.S. and their employment of new and varied attack plans," the three-page note concludes.

"Public statements highlighting group leaders' intent to strike and probable terrorist perception of success in challenging the U.S. even through failed attacks, suggest al Qaeda and associated groups will try to conduct operations in the United States with increased frequency."

The attacks included the alleged May 1 attempt by Faisal Shahzad to detonate a car bomb in Times Square and the attempted Christmas Eve bombing of a Northwest Airlines Flight 253 by a suspect who managed to carry high powered explosives aboard the aircraft concealed in his underwear. In each attempt, U.S. intelligence failed to detect and prevent the attacks and it was only through failures in the construction of the improvised explosive devices that the attacks did not cause mass causalities.

God, I hope we continue getting lucky, or being blessed, or whatever it is that is preventing these attacks from killing people...cuz it sure as hell won't be because the government can stop it. That was true before Obama, but it's especially true now. We are much more vulnerable now because of the prevailing attitude in Washington, the "Sorry we suck" attitude of our president...

So much for scrapping the whole 'Global War on Terror' label.

Remember back when the left blamed Bush for people hating us? Good times.

I have always believed there will be another or more successful terrorist attacks. They have only to be right once where we have to be perfect. The odds are definitely in their favor. Also it appears AQ has adjusted their strategy instead of using cells they are using lone wolves which are even more difficult to catch.

These "terrorists" just need hugs. BO needs to invite them to the white house for a game of Wii bowling and a beer where they'll discuss their differences in philosophy and then everything will be OK. Mohamed can then catch a ride on the magical unicorn back to the middle east where he'll tell everyone that Americans are well, just really swell once you get to know them.

These ****ing leftards will be over in eastern Africa next trying to teach lions and hyenas to get along and eat tofo instead of gazelles then have a stupid look on their face and asking "what happened" after they get mauled.

There will be. Look at the guy in Dallas that just plead guilty yesterday. he thought he was blowing up a skyscraper. He had been found out and they trapped him, but he was motivated to do it. If there's people out there like him, and law enforcement doesn't find them for whatever reason they're going to succeed in some way. Subway systems, sports stadiums, malls, airports, buildings. It's just so hard to keep all places secure.
I think it's kind of dumb for them to worry about the language we're using and whether or not to profile. If anyone thinks terrorists that hate the US are affected by that in a positive way, and it's going to make them change their minds about the U.S. they're dreaming.

Yep. I have always thought if I was a terrorist... I probably shouldn't say what I would do.
