He is what he is. A #4-5 starter. He will give you 8-12 wins a year with an ERA around 4.50

I really am tired if Lefebvre. He is a drama queen and boring and just stupid at times.

They show a player taking their hat off wiping their brown and he says "you are going to see a lot of that today, it is HOT"

I am sure Frank White looked at him like he was crazy. Frank has to be thinking..."I played out there on astro turf, you pussy!"

I like how all the commercials and adverts for the Royals have stopped even trying to pimp the product that Glass & Co. shuffle on the field every day. They instead focus on the incoming team as the reason you should go to the park....awesome. Their marketing isn't even trying to disguise anything, they're just throwing that right in our faces.

"We won't really put a 'team' together per se, what we'll do is collect $100M+ in revenue before we even play a game, then we'll sell the other team's product while they're on tour. This way people still feel like they're watching pro baseball while they get charged $6 per water, $8.50 per beer (which retail in the store for roughly 85¢). You know, like a big newly remodeled merch tent."

Ladies and gentleman, make some noise for your WAL-MART ROYALS!!!

You are ignorant. This team spends nearly everything they take in, comparable, as a percentage of income, to just about any of the top teams.

They suck because our GM's have historically been too stupid to spend what little money we do get wisely.

Fever gets on me nerves anymore. I get tired of hearing about the wind on every routine pop-fly. I get tired of hearing how the other team pulled off some miracle to take the lead against us. I get tired of hearing about how great our hitting is when we score 1 run in 3 games.

And most of all, most of all, I get tired of hearing how the score at one point in time was 0-0

Well, Moosetacos is still a year or two away it seems. We maybe bring him up for a taste later this year. I would however, be for trading AC over DDJ. But we had better get something legit for him. this is where Gordon comes in maybe ... add him into the trade package and really trade for stud that some other team is looking to get rid of because of cost. Guillen's 12 million is coming off the books at the end of the year ... let's go get a #1 type pitcher who can bump Greinke down so he can pitch against lesser pitchers and get some wins.

The scary part of all that is Dayton Moore. He seems to excel at overpaying has-been or soon to be has-beens.

I understand overpaying Meche. We needed a good pitcher to come in on the staff and to send a message to players in the league we will pay. We almost signed Tori Hunter. He was all but ours until LA came in at the very last minute and outbid us by $30mil. But you have to look at the Farnsworth signing and scratch your head. Farns has done better as of late but still not worth what we paid him. Guillen was an overpay.

Relievers are pretty inconsistent, i'd hope we get a guy that lasts for several years but that is almost a crapshoot. That said i'd like to see Gordon come back up as LF'er and see if he has changed at all. He does have the talent but definetly not much time left with us.

Between Gordon and AC in LF, I'll take AC. I am just shot on Gordon. I pulled for him. I wanted him to be a good player. I hated to watch him go down the way he did. But the reality of it all is the kid just can't hit big league pitching and is average at best on defense. I could live with AC, Maier and DDJ as our outfield for a couple years, barring getting a hold of a better player for CF.

He has played better in RF than he ever did in LF. 0 errors on the season. His bat is consistent as well. That is a cornerstone of this team. He is the best player we have and has a long career ahead of him. If we trade him it sends the same message that was sent when we traded Damon, Dye and Beltran.
