Dragon Age Origins is getting an anime. The studio responsible is the japanese firm FUNimation. Work has begun since may of this year, according to a press release. The film will be released in 2010 directly to blu-ray and dvd.
Mark Darrah, executing Producer at Bioware: "Anime is a great medium for us to expand the dragon age story" As with the filming of Mass Effect, Bioware keeps a large say in the matters of the material, and doesn't simply randomly hand out a license. However, Darrah is confident in the ability of the studio.
