340/13/15-18 in 2006 you sat in the same section row 22 for $640 per seat.

Great Lower Level options
116/5/5-8 ($890 per seat 5 rows from the field)

Excuse the ignorance BRC, but how many games does that price represent?10 total. Includes 8 regular season games and the 2 pre-season games. Plus rights to the same seats for any playoff games.

These reps must be retarded, because I've been offered MUCH better seats in both levels as recently as yesterday.

Sounded to me like you could get in the 2nd or 3rd row in any upper deck section from the 10 yard line back and around to the other 10.

BTW, I almost jumped on Section 117, Row 19 a week ago. Just couldn't pull the trigger at $1800 plus travel, even for 30 yard line seats.

When can you walk again?

I've been off crutches for 5 days, driving for 1.

So walking, but with a pretty decent limp. Literally taking stairs one at a time. Bad leg leads going down, good leg leads going up.

I'm only getting 110* bend from the knee as of yesterday.

I think the right thing to do here would be to buy 2 season tickets and then have a drawing each week here on the planet for them since you'll be in Tampa.

Glad to hear it!

Thanks, man.

Sadly, I'm already forced to consider the timeframe for doing the OTHER knee.

We've met our health insurance deductible for the year, so I need to decide if I want to go back-to-back and have the other done in Early/Mid July, and be in decent shape before the Fall semester starts, or wait until after Fall Finals and have it done the 2nd week of December. Might as well take advantage of having the deductible met.

We've already started a Pros/Cons list for each, and neither option is terribly appealing and have some heavy hitters on the "Con" side of the ledger.

If I thought there would be ANY market for tickets this year, I would have jumped.

Eventually, this team will be good again, and it'd be nice to get in now while tremendous seats are available.

But taking a bath on them for 2 years?

Pass.

That's why they're both getting done, to extend the "life" of my knees.

Doc got my attention real quick when he said, "I'll fix the meniscus tears, and remove the cyst from your ACL, but the back of both of your kneecaps are shredded."

"Clean them up now, or potentially be looking at arthritic knees in your 40's and replacements in your 50's."

When you hear that, and know that he's performed surgery on the likes of Jerry Rice, Curtis Joseph, Jackie Joyner-Kersee, Anna Kournakova, etc - you take it pretty seriously.

Plus he found a few spurs on my Tibia that he wasn't expecting, and took care of those. PTist thinks that's why rehab has gone a bit slower - the extra work on a weight-bearing bone.

I jumped at getting in row 104 a few weeks ago.

I've worked it out to sell the 2 preseason games to my stepdad's company for face value and 2 regular season games of my choosing. He's an engineer and the company likes getting lower level seats to give to clients since their located out of Missouri.

It's a win for me.

My wife has a ton of clients in KC, so we could give them away, and write them off, but that's not terribly enticing to me.

I thought I had a buddy who was going to split with me, so he could give them to HIS clients as perks and as a write off, but he decided it wasn't worth it.

I think it's bullshit that they didn't offer you the better seats.

Instead of calling and e-mailing former STH's weekly and getting rejected, they should offer those seats to ANYONE that is willing to pay.

Then again, after what Nzoner went through to get the Bash group sale completed, I have to think a bunch of chimps are running that joint.

They have no problem calling me twice a week, but take 3 days to return the call to a guy guaranteeing you 20 tickets to two different games?

They should be happy to be getting any business that comes their way right now - they're acting as if they've been perennial contenders and don't need to work to fill a "brand new" stadium.

Company paid.

$25 co-pay for physician.

$35 co-pay for specialists.

$50 for ER/Hospital, refunded if admitted.

$800 personal deductible/$1600 family per calendar year.

They had chumps like me on the line for so many years paying outrageious prices for mediocre teams. See prime example below. I paid premium prices for many a crappy season. But, 2006 was a fun season.

In fairness to them I wasn't a former STH and they were begging me to buy lower level seats that got released last Friday.

But I agree with you they should be happy about selling group seats or any seats for that matter.

Jeez.

I was told those "premium Sideline Select" seats were "released" over 3 weeks ago, because it was before my knee surgery. (May 17)

These guys are full of shit.

I don't know if it was the same set of seats but here is the original email they sent me. I guess it will be 2 weeks this Friday

This Friday, May 28th we are going to open up all cancelled seats in the lower level sideline select. These are seating locations that haven't been available in 20+ years. They can be purchased by past season ticket holders, new season ticket holders, or current season ticket holders. For current season ticket holders we will not be able to relocate any current seats but you can add these sideline select seats to your account. It looks like the best seats are going to be in sections 120 and 121.

That's such a crock of shit. They were offered to me more than two weeks prior to that e-mail.

And why weren't the better seats offered to TheBadGuy?

He's sitting between the 10 and the GL when he could have been sitting on the 30.

Are these the seats they offered you? The cost was $1790

I have a guy dropping seats in Section 118, Row 17, Seats 16-17. If you want to pick them up let me know because they are the closest to mid field by 2 full sections.

Fuck, those are even better.

People must be dropping like flies.

I was offered 117, Row 19, but that was almost 4 weeks ago. I've quit taking their calls since the surgery. Talking to a sales rep while on Oxycodone probably isn't the smartest move.

Ahh, I'm pretty happy where the seats are. Under cover and have a good view of the entire field.

Next year I'll try to relocate if I'm not happy enough. I plan on putting the SD game on Stubhub at the end of July - hopefully they get me a profit and then we'll go from there.

I'm coming out for the 49ers game if anyone is going.
