Hard to argue with any type of QB ranking really

Tebow being number 1 on these lists really is the stupidest thing I've ever seen. Vince Young and Matt Leinart both clearly overshadow anything he did (w/l record, Heisman, national championships, etc.) The case for Tebow is basically that he was such a nice guy.

Are you serious? You can dislike Tebow all you like, but you're crazy. Tebow played in, scored in, and won TWO National Championships. Tebow was the first sophomore EVER to win the Heisman, won the Maxwell twice, was a two-time first All-American, AP Player of the Year, etc.

Leinart actually started and won two national championships, and also won the Heisman. If those are your arguments, Leinart is #1.

Tebow was a great QB but on almost no criteria can he top Vince Young or Leinart. The fact that he was never able to lead his team to an undefeated season alone should take him out of contention. Even Greg McElroy led his team to an undefeated season.

Young never won a Heisman. Leinart won 1 BCS Championship and 1 AP Championship (the National Championship was split with LSU).

There are many other arguments. Tim Tebow is the most decorated player in college football history. You can maybe argue Leinart (but not really). Suggesting Young should be ranked higher is laughable.

So you're saying he should be #1 because he is the most decorated, and you've got nothing else. Thats like saying the guy with the most medals wins the medal for most medals.

Vince Young led his team to an undefeated season, including multiple 4th quarter comebacks. Thats two things Tebow was never able to lead to do.

Freeman must have played lights-out in non-MU games; I don't remember him having much success at all against a fairly poor MU secondary.

Didn't Leinart help his team to a conference title every year he started? That's more than you can say for Tebow.

Sure, lets not pay attention to all the awards that the best QB/player in the country receives because they have no merit when discussing the best QB of the decade. ROFL

Instead you want to base it upon undefeated seasons and 4th quarter comebacks? You should work on your reasoning skills.

You're saying he shouldn't be #1 because he didn't have an undefeated season? You do realize football is a TEAM sport and this is a ranking of QBs, not TEAMS?

Your 4th quarter comeback argument is stupid. Tebow rarely trailed in the 4th quarter of games. Same with Leinart. Maybe VY should have had his team in position to win without having to have a 4th quarter comeback.

Tebow won the Heisman and was one of only 2 players to EVER win the Maxwell Award twice. Those are 2 things (among many others) VY was never able to do.

Please.

Pac-10 vs SEC.

The SEC produced the National Champion every season that Tebow played. Leinart had little competition out west.

I don't realize why it's so difficult for people to comprehend the separation between college and professional athletics. I'm a Gators alum and Gators fan. Not a Tebow fan. Tebow was a great player for the Gators and a was a lot of fun to watch. I could care less how he does on the professional level. He was drafted by the one team in the league I despise more than any. If he went to any team in the NFC or possibly any AFC team other than Oakland, San Deigo or Denver then I would have liked to see him succeed. He's in Denver. I wish him zero success.

I don't get this Leinart support. His team now is losing all of those wins because the program was crooked.

Because Tebow would have to hand it off instead of calling his own number on every goal line play, wouldn't rack up a bunch of 1 yard td's and would just be the guy handing it off?

Why do people still get tricked by "Bleacher Report". It's not some sort of authoritative site. It's a bunch of garbage written by a bunch of random fans. It's not much different than trying to cite a list of the top 50 QB's created by one of the posters here.

I don't have a problem with Bleacher Report. It's a fun outlet for fans, just like CP is. But nothing that is posted there should be considered news worth citing in a discussion here.

Despite the fact that he is a POS now, I have to think if there was a draft of QB's of the 21st century most college coaches would be taking Vick #1 overall.
