I think this says all you need to know about Haynesworth.

Bank sues Albert Haynesworth for $2.4 million
11:56 AM

This may not be the best time for Albert Haynesworth to be missing checks and paying fines.

Clayton Bank and Trust in Knoxville, Tenn. is suing the former Titans star defensive tackle for failing to make payments on a $2.38 million loan.

Haynesworth, who signed a $100 million free-agent deal with Washington in March 2009, has refused to participate in the Redskins' offseason activities, did not report to a mandatory mini-camp last week and has requested a trade.

The suit, filed last week, states that the loan was made last June, and despite an extension, Haynesworth has failed to make the necessary payments. The bank seeks more than $2.4 million including unpaid interest and late fees.

I’m glad the Redskins are dealing with all his crap. Any team who signed that head-case had to see trouble coming.

Pathetic that he's pissing away all of that money and taking out loans he could have, but won't, repay while dozens of other vets are eking out a miserable existence.

FWIW, I think I've mentioned on here in the past that the league should hire financial advisers and that the players should be required to meet with them 2 times a year in order to get their checks.

Maybe the player's union should be the ones doing that.
