Who needs a job? Who knows of a job? Let's help planeteers out when we hear of good opportunities.

If you need a job, mention what kind of work you do, and what you're looking for...

If you hear of a job, mention the skills needed...

I've recently had one of my clients mention that they are looking for 10-15 Websphere or J2EE programmers in Columbus Ohio. Here is the deal, you just need to know C#, Java or .NET and they can train you Websphere.

40-45k... 12 months to 36 month contract... paid housing and paid travel back to your home every 3 weeks or so.

If you or anyone you know is looking for work and would be open to move to Columbus for awhile... i can connect you the person looking.

Is that the same though? I never look in the stickies.

Haha.... good idea though, eh?

These guys are gonna have 50-100 programmer jobs this year... so I didn't think to look up anything specific.

Just wanted to share.

I get contacted every few months by recruiters looking for Radiation Effects Engineers, usually out in Arizona, but I doubt anyone on here is qualified for that position.

How about if you DON'T need a job, or DON'T know of a job... you DON'T post? Sounds perfectly logical to me.

This thread doesn't seem to be getting much action. I think i'll start a new "tech jobs" thread.

I'm in the market for what it's worth.

Been doing IT work for the last 15 years. the last 7 have been as a network administrator.

Not too sure I want to continue with Network or Server administration though. I really prefer client support and think I'm going to focus my searches in that area.

If anyone has experience in software sales (specifically Microsoft), I know of a large account reseller that is looking for a field AE in KC - as well as STL. PM me if you have questions.
