First of all, let me say I have been subscribing to DirecTv and Sunday Ticket since 1996, so this could be why I got this deal.. BUT:

I finally decided that $300 was more than I was willing to pay for Sunday Ticket. I called to cancel it, and with no hesitation they offered it to me for 6 payments of $29.99. $180 puts it back within my pain threshold, so I took the deal.

Something you may want to give a try.. FWIW.

Also, all games are now in HD without the worthless "SuperFan" package as long as you are paying the $10 HD access fee. Beware though, they now have the $10 To-Go add-on that they automatically sign you up for. So if you don't want ST on your PC or phone you may want to cut that off to save the $$.

Exactly the deal my wife got yesterday when she called. She started the whole sob story about "longtime subscribers, gotten so expensive, times are tough" and without hesitation they gave us the $29.99 for 6 mos.

Where you been, D?

Haven't seen you post in what seems like forever.

I was browsing apps the other night and found the superfan app. Makes me wish I had DTV

Been super-busy... son's kart racing is in full swing and we are traveling this year, and we just sold our house - moving to rental - building new house.

Don't know if I'll have time to watch much Sunday Ticket - but I'll use the short cuts :)
