NORWOOD – A woman faces charges after calling 911 several times while drunk and asking for a date, taking two dispatchers out of service for emergencies, according to Norwood police.
Bernadette Music, 43, of Norwood, was booked into the Hamilton County jail on charges of disorderly conduct while intoxicated about 5 p.m. Sunday and released by 10 p.m., jail officials said.
She tied up 911 dispatchers on July 26 by calling four or five times and asking for a date, court records state.
Music also is accused of urinating in the hallway of her apartment building in the 500 block of Maple Ave.
Just last month, an Ohio woman made national headlines when she was arrested for a similiar offense.
Audrey Scott of Alliance was charged with calling 911 five times in one hour looking for a husband after having too much to drink. She spent three days in jail.
