Seymor, Awsome-wa, McFadden, Schilens, Heyward-Bey not playing. Big rookie Jared Veldheer at LT with 1st team.

All the Chicago yards came from rookie Rolando McClain over-running a play resulting in an 89 yard TD run by Forte.

1st Quarter stats: 10-6 Oakland
Total yards: 167 Oakland, 89 Chicago
Campbell 7/11 for 141
Cutler 0/1 for -20

He's getting sacked bad.... 2/7 for 34 yards midway through the 2nd. Oops! Just sacked him again...

You guyz'll like this... Raiders self-destruct in 2nd quarter. Julius Peppers beats rookie LT Veldheer for strip-sack. Starting center Satele gets injured, backup center hikes the ball over Campbell's head deep in Raider territory. Cutler throws 4th-down TD & goes for two. Chicago 14, Oakland 13.

Oh. I liked Veldheer a lot in the draft.

Cutler is a bitch.

He's doing pretty dang good for a rook. Sometimes Julius Peppers beats the LT no matter who it is. 20-14 Oakland 3rd quarter.

Very true, and you can also mark that as the very first sack that Veldheer has ever allowed.

Scrub time 3rd quarter... 27-14 Oakland. Rookie Jacoby Ford might be OK... he's fast & can catch the ball (against 2nd teamers anyway).

30-17 Oakland 4th quarter trash time. Colt Brennan at QB... hands off for a loss. Gets sacked for a loss.

Brennan actually has a nice touch on the ball. Oakland shows mercy & lets time expire at the Chicago goal line.. 32-17.

Did you catch Kameron Wimbley with the 1st team? Guy was all over the field. Sacked Cutler 4 times & had great coverage deep against WRs. He should be checked for methedrine in his steroids.

Were gonna be scary as compared to what we have been over the last few years, can't wait to line up against the chiefs
Maybe this is the year both teams revive the rivalry from days gone past :thumb:

NFL Network Sunday at 11PM
I actually watched the game live, found a link on the net hooked my HDMI cable to the tv and it looked pretty good

a nice couple of screen passes, Miller looked great, Murphy looked good, Bush looked great, Wimbley pretty awesome, McClain had a nice tackle... Rookie corner Mcfadden played well with a very nice defensive swat...

Cambell had a pick but played very well against the first team D Shaugnessy (sp) was penetrating the line nicely. Ford caught a couple of passes.

The first team looked much better tonite than they did last week

I am gonna predict 8-8 and that will be because we lost a couple of close ones for the year

Starters have 11 sacks in 2 games (more like 3 quarters of play). A lot of it is having John Marshall at defensive coordinator... dudes been doing it for 30 years. When he was defensive coordinator in SF the 49ers were the NFL's No. 1 defense. But some of the success is just new players ripping it up. Lamaar Houston is an animal (might have some kinda anger problem, though). One of those sacks came on a 3 man rush so it ain't all John Marshall.

We got some beef up front.
Now, as long as we can keep some kind of pocket protection, were gonna be wicked this season
I mean come on, 3 sacks a game your QB sucks
5-7 a game, hell even Montana him self in his ****en prime could have done much to survive.
It ain't just a bad QB. If your getting to him your D line sucks in the first place

Game wasn't all roses, ya know. That Campbell INT showed we need a bit more help up front. Hit as he threw, intercepted at the 11. Very next play, Rolando McClain totally overruns the play and Forte runs an 89-yard TD. Can't do that kinda stuff & win.
