You seem kind of conservative, so you must be. Am I right?

Depends. Define "sketchy part of town." Define "sketchy."

Hmm, I don't think so.

But this data set isn't conducive to answering the question.

Neighborhoods that appear to have been neglected. Foot traffic makes me wary as well.

ditto. If sketchy means "black part of town", then yes. I assumed from the OP you meant that part of town which is run-down and crime-ridden (ie the ethnicity of that part of town is not relevant), so I voted no.

Are you white? If you are, I'm afraid so...

You don run anyone over do you? Do you roll the windows up so others can't hear things you say? If no, you are not racist.

Have you ever voted for a Republican? If so, the answer is yes.

Nope, just smart. But since you have white guilt I bet you voted for the "Big O" correct?

The first time I ever saw someone roll up their window because of what part of town they were in, was when I was driving and my boss at the time (a black man) did it. I don't think he was a bigot but I do think he wanted to keep his wallet. I think two guys in the hood wearing suits and ties may have made us stick out a little bit.

How could anyone say you were a racist for avoiding danger?
Are the shop owners in bad neighborhoods racist for covering their store fronts with steel gates at night?

LOL At that time of my life I probably did look a little like a cop. Or worse an Insurance salesman which I was. Well was trying to be.

Sounds like the OP rolls his windows up a lot. That doesn't make him racist but it does make him kinda' paranoid.

There is nothing wrong with protecting your interests where ever you go. There would be a problem if you say go into sketchy parts of town to fight for racist reasons.
